Infinity: Battlescape - Polite duels - PHilbeRt! vs. Random_Passerby

Late evening 1v1 PvP battles with [PBF] PHilbeRt!. No voice as the microphone was connected to laptop, all that is left is combat and a bit of travel. And the combat was good! Reminds to train with converging weapons more, of course.
Credit to PHilbeRt! for intense PvP, HUTCH and KingRaptor for pushing the game towards PvE right afterwards.

Ah your videos always look so much prettier than mine! I like the cinematic shots with the HUD off of stations etc, then turning it on and everything lighting up. Despite the issues with how it looked like my ship was facing a different way to what it was a lot of the time, was a very exciting battle to watch back from your perspective. Zoomed in helps the drama I think. I wonder how a duel with speed cap on would look? Hmm. Not a fan of capping speed, but, over such a distance with not always the most reliable connections, it may be interesting to try.

Loud no to speed cap! Better have some desync and pay attention to speed to correct it manually, than to lose fast approach capability to be cornered. Well, cornered through speed alone, not depleted energy and denied thrust. Especially when there are other pretty cool loadouts that rely on hit-and-run, or at least, well, autoaim machineguns. We haven't tried railgun combat yet btw :D
