1 year ago I got on a plane for the first time in my life, at 28. I was living a day to day with no change. I flew to New Zealand by myself, without knowing what to even expect. Met several random people that are now great friends, got invited to bbq's, houses to stay at, etc. Then a few months later Indonesia, all over Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan. Again, not knowing what to expect, just saying yes to things I had never done. Met even more great friends and experienced some amazing adventures. After home and work a few months, I'll be heading to Panama and Colombia. I have learned from that first flight to New Zealand that the world is not as scary as people tell you. Everywhere you go, people will offer to help, hang out, invite you to things, ect. It has turned from "not sure I want to actually do this" into "I dont know what the hell is going to happen, but I cant wait to see". If you have the ability to go, I can't urge you enough to just do it. Family will try to scare you out of it, but it opens a whole new world that, after you start, you just become addicted and will almost sell everything to not stop. Its thrilling, and you will have connections all over the world without hardly trying. I'm not sure why I wrote this long freakin comment. lol I just wish more people would jump into trying to get out of the comfort zone, because it leads to amazing places. Just discovered this channel, and it's nice seeing other people enjoy the adventures. If you need some change in your life, stop thinking and just go :D
