Just a beautiful system but looked like a pain in the you know what to get started. Also glad to see its not all sunshine and rainbows. Anthony great tips today.

I think that was mostly a “too many cooks in the kitchen” situation 🤣🤣 Once we figured out the best way to slip it into the track it went up quickly

How do you clean out small debris that will fall through the deck and stick to the panels? From experience I know this happens. How much weight will the panels support from ice?

If you screwed the white tracks to the joist, isn't there a possibility of them cracking due to expansion and contracting? At least thats what happened to me....
@THEpremieroutdoor Жыл бұрын
I’d definitely recommend pre drilling the pvc pitch rails, but I don’t foresee cracking being an issue

I would love to know what suspenders you use. I can't find them anywhere.

Don’t they sell the drink rail brackets so you don’t have to drill into the top rail and have a stronger connection?
@THEpremieroutdoor Жыл бұрын
They do, but we prefer this way…a little easier and just as strong
@0906danny Жыл бұрын
That makes sense, I will probably try your idea next time to be honest. If it’s actually stronger and I save a couple bucks on not buying the brackets then that’s a win! I’m a deck builder/contractor out here in Texas and my inspiration came from your builds in the beginning for sure so thanks for what y’all do. Much love from Texas!

You state that you show the gutter install in a later video but I can't find it, do you have that somewhere? I'm at the gutter stage of my build and I can't figure out some stuff, need guidance!
@Whitetail557 ай бұрын
I was wondering the same thing. I'd like to see how they finish the system. How's the last piece of wall trim go up and the gutter ? Let's see it

What is the call on the cocktail rail being a scalloped piece? Would that look bad? It would be a 5.5” inch composite decking board on a 3.5” rail set at 36”.

Just curious how you are going to clean debris from under the deck and above the soffit. With those trees around the house, I would imagine some dirt/leaves getting in there .
@samu38136 ай бұрын
People that can afford this stuff usually can afford to have someone come out every 2 years to take a few panels down and clean. They can also afford to replace their deck every 10 years as the lack of ventilation is likely to cause the joist to rot out faster. What I don't get is, if they built the deck why not use the epdm liner solution which also protects the joists?

I think you guys do amazing work, Beautiful finishes, great cuts , smooth miters, Outstanding, Truly man, However when you you showed your electrician under the deck, roughing the wires, Not the clean kind of work I would expect from you guys. Wiring was all over, not stapled smooth or neat and I get it, its under the deck. But with everything else being done perfect, the wiring rough should be the same.
