Installing the RV Airflow Systems kit for better cooling performance in my 2018 Forest River Wildwood 31KQBTS Travel Trailer equipped with a Dometic Brik Air II air conditioner.
This was an easy DIY installation requiring some basic tools and supplies.
I have no affiliation with RV Airflow Systems. This was just a video I made while installing a commercial product I fully paid for.

Maybe its time to add a "Bee" scale to determine difficulty for each project. This one could be rated two out of a possible *5 Bee's* .. 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 🐝 Another great project. Keep em coming.

Maybe you could use different species of bees to signify the difficulty of the job. It could go Bumble Bee, Honey Bee, Yellow Jacket, Hornet, and Killer Bee

I'm glad I saw this! I was considering this system, but I don't like the restrictions of the duct inlets. Hard pass fo me. I'll build my own with rigid foam insulation and aluminum tape.

Good video. I was curious if it made a difference in cooling for you. I bought one and am having to do similar modifications. I just want to see if it is worth installing.

Thanks for the comment. The installation definitely made a difference. It doesn't make the air cooler but provides better air flow thus cooling the RV better. Definitely worth it!

I have added 2 of these to my 3 AC units. In the instructions after the foam insert is installed it stated you need to break of the 4 tabs under the old air dump. Did you not need to do that for the cover plate to mount flush? Great video. I also just added the RV AC "Silencer" by WackO products and it really made the unit significantly quieter

I did not have to remove off any tabs. These work great.

Honestly, I did not get a chance to take it out in the heat last year. It feels like more air is making it to each vent so I would assume it helps by making the airflow through the ducts more efficient but I can not confirm it yet. I hope to have an update in the next couple months as the weather gets hotter.

How about just getting a new RV with a better AC unit? Great video though. Can’t wait to find out if your RV stays cooler

This is the standard AC setup in RV's, you must not be familiar with RV AC systems. BTW that sounds like a cost effective approach... wow!
