I was looking for a seated dance cardio video but thought maybe none existed. I have limited time to sit but I want to teach both seated and standing cardio dance in the future. So I modified and moved in all directions because I also have limited time to stand in one place. Halfway through I did bigger modifications for laying flat down. Without sitting I couldn't move both feet together too well but....modify. I liked the r and b music partway through the best. I hope you make more seated dance videos. This was more advanced than the ones I did with mom after her stroke but I think for most people, moving in time to good music makes exercise much more doable. I hopevyou make more seated cardio dance videos- with a variety of durations as little as 5 minutes long, as a warm up, cooldown or when we just can't do any more. I have found that people on these videos are asking for mainly 1950s through 1970s pop music, but I also love some older such as big band and Charleston, Latin, almost any rock and r and b as well as some newer music.

Thanks for your feedback and thoughts on this workout, Sherry. It's a challenge using copyrighted music which is why you don't usually hear it on my channel. There are always issues that arise. I'll do my best to create some more seated dance videos in the future:)

Wow! Another great one, really felt it in my upper legs and thighs. The chair of one’s are nice, cause I don’t have to put n my running shoes. Keep them coming, cause with the videos and walking I’m in good shape. God Bless

Once again had to take 3 weeks off for a medical issue. It is not totally resolved but I am able to start to train again. This was great. However, I want to comment that I love a couple of things about your channel: the new 'Chair assisted' section is awesome and I particularly love the no talking videos because I am always going to blast my own music and I don't feel as bad about it when there is a no talking. Is there a possibility of adding a 'with or without music' feature? Even if not I will continue to do your workouts because they are really excellent and positive and fun. Thanks as always.

This was a really great workout. I've skipped over the chair workouts thinking they'd be too easy. I was wrong. Inreally felt this in my abs and legs and it got my heart rate up quite nicely. Thank you, Jules.

You can still do it in a chair with arms...just sit on the edge of the chair so you can move more easily. But, yes, a chair without arms will make it easier to move:)

Always surprised how tough seated workouts are. Great for the abs, tough on the front of the thighs. Missed the time clock.

Thanks for letting me know about the time clock...I will include it next time. Sometimes I feel like it will make the workout seem longer when participants are watching the clock. But, the feedback tells me to keep the clock in the video:)

A fairly good workout, but a lot of marching and very little dancing. The music in the first part is a nerve-wracking jangling tune that plays over and over--I had to mute this. Also, this is NOT low impact so be careful. Low impact means keeping one foot on the ground at all times, but she has a lot of moves where she raises both feet. If you have back problems this will make it worse.

I create 3 levels of workouts and this one is an intermediate workout so the moves are designed to be more challenging (not designed for people with back issues). When we raise both feet, that’s a combo cardio and core exercise. I will review the video this morning and decide whether to remove it. I always value viewer’s feedback and safety is priority as well. Thank you for taking the time to give feedback.

Hi again, I just reviewed it to remind myself of what I included in this video. To make it more clear for others, I just added 'intermediate level' in the title to help people understand that this is a step up. The intermediate level workouts are created for people who want an extra challenge, and find the gentle and beginner level workouts too easy.
