Make some calls to nursing homes and find out from the Administrators you contact the hiring company and regional to talk to.

Did you have ALL that experience before your HCM position? Medicaid, Medicare, Insurance, did you have on job training or you knew about all that prior to your position?

As a Nursing home Administrator I knew enough by working with really good ones and not so good. Just got off the phone with a previous coworker. I like to keep good ones in my rolodex for questions in the future.

I passed the NHA CORE but failed the NHA service line. I'm gonna retake the NHA service line of 50 questions before I make my first attempt at the state exam. 3 exams to get licensed seems excessive.

@@thenursinghomeadministrato9502 If I could have went back I agree taking both exams (Core & NHA service line) was a BAD idea. NHA service line exam is only 55 questions so I'm sure I'll get it on my 2nd attempt by taking it by itself. Test fatigue is real.
