What about the other criminals?? The reporter’s obsession over teenagers having sex is indicative of the lack of morals in America! Said was right in wanting his daughters not to engage in juvenile sex. He took it too far, of course! But the obsession with that issue alone is creepy! The mother is the white devil who returned the girls to the so called “monster” you’re focused on.

He’s the killer. That is his voice. What a POS. He’s not going to get out…might as well admit it. The way he keeps making excuses and downplaying the disgusting violence inflicted on that poor woman. How can he deny it when you can even tell it’s his voice. The 2nd one (the “honor” killings) one of the daughters said on the 911 call that her dad shot her. These killers are all cowards

What a tragic story of the young man with a mental illness who murdered his parents. They had never turned a blind eye instead tried to get him help when he was unable to stop the dark thoughts. You can see that he is tormented out of all of the criminals profiled on this show. He was the only one who took full responsibility. He was also the only one who truly had such a severe mental disturbance of depression and Violent thoughts until the day he finally acted on them. I pray that everyone in his family finds peace. The interviewer for this series is fantastic. I really enjoy watching him!

I think they made a huge mistake trying and sentencing him as adult when it was said he was very immature for his age! I think they should have sent him to a mental institute and worked with him to see if he could be rehabilitated, what good would prison do him? Also it was clear he had mental issues so why wouldn't an insanity plea have worked?

Apparently most prisoners convicted of homicide are innocent! Those caught indisputably in the act are apparently not guilty due to being insane at the time! Then there are those who feel that childhood trauma was the real culprit, and therapy instead of punishment is what's needed after the deliberate taking of a life. That only leaves a scant few who actually plead guilty and accept their sentence of life behind bars. So the prisons are overflowing with the wrongfully convicted? No one wants to be in prison - but some folk will make sure they end up in one.

I see where you are coming from, it’s true that a lot of people who come from trouble backgrounds are more likely to offend/break the law. But there are people who have come from troubled/ have mental illness backgrounds do not offend all the time. I do believe that the system is corrupt and does not work hard enough on rehabilitation or getting people the help they need in order to prevent an offence. But actions do have consequences and there are professionals that evaluate offenders that claim to be insane due to trauma or undiagnosed illness, so majority of inmates are actually most likely guilty

The last one with Tyler is so so easy to work out' Ever since the early 1990s and ramping up from 2000 on there has been a huge amount of teens killing their parents and eachother and the reason for me is obvious. Suburban living, working parents who THINK they have a family unit but barely know their own children or partners is not any way to be living. Its a facade, its a slow death. This kid felt hopeless because the adult life that was being modeled looked like hell. If you are brought up with no creativity, no cross section of thinking and different life styles, just the same old same old day in day out, nothing to believe in but getting a career and repeating what you see around you, well some people crack. The fact his parents had him go to see so called specialists who are telling him something is wrong but offering no solution , shows they barely knew their growing son. I am surprised they didn't fall into the trap of medicating him which every one of your school shooters were when the ADHD scam happened. I found a music scene to be fully involved in and hit the jackpot with similar thinking friends and so did both my children as young teens. Modern Western living , and everything that goes with it , is the goddam problem.
