I have been following you since 2019, and it is great to see you become one of the leading proponents of martial arts in India. Keep going forward and may God give you more strength and ashirwaad. I plan to do something to promote the Indian martial culture, would love to connect with you someday on that.

All Indian children should be made to undergo this kind of training along with some sloka recital classes and classes on the importance of Kula Devta worship , worship of saints and. Gurus, Pitru Karyam and importance of Ancestor worship , importance of cow worship . These r the basic elements of our culture and religion that binds our country from Kashmir to Kanyakumari and Bengal to Gujarat. Some organisation should conduct classes for children on these aspects and parents should enroll young children in these classes . In this age of liberal propaganda and foreign interference , this is what will secure our country’s future. If these elements keep getting eroded at the rate at which it is happening now , v will soon become a nation of rootless ppl who have no notion of identity.

That training actually makes sense for combat skills. The extra gravy is that is is culturally enriching for the students for it also allows them to learn more about their own culture. Being no expert here, but it looks like a win win to me.

All ur work is undoubtedly superb But one thing I noticed about the kids It seems they don't have energy in them No one is sitting straightly Even some aren't showing interest like it's just another show. I really Flet bad about it. Khair Bhaiya Chakra dand karne mein baar baar dikkat aa rahi hai Main kumbhak ke saath karta hu fir bhi Saans (breath ) Kam padne lag Rahi hai, Dum tut Jata hai Plz ek specific shorts Lao na uspe Chakra dand kaise Karen with breathing technique. Jai ma kali Jai shree ram.

Jai Shri Ram 🙏 They were there for a different program and I took over for this session 😆... they're kids I'll not blame them...The elders sitting were paying more attention ✌️ Chakra dand is complicated...maybe try with regular breathing first and work on... Leg flexibility Not taking off the hands from the floor too much ( maintain contact )... Same for the leg when you have to hop ....don't think like a jump..think like a skip... I have a short vid as well ✌️

Actually MUAY THAI, LETHWEI,KUN KHMER and BOKATOR are all derived from KALAARIPAYATU fourth stage called VEERUKAMAI which means unarmed combat or hand to hand combat, in this stage, we have mushti yuddha(fist combat), malla yuddha(wrestling),vajramushti yuddha(claws knuckles combat) and marma( pressure points attack). So mauy thai, muay boran,lethwei, kun khmer and bokator are all derived from KALAARIPAYATU MUSHTI YUDDHA stage. Isn't it?

Kalari practitioner of fifteen years here. Mushti Yuddha, Malla Yuddha, Vajra Mushti are all distinct forms and have nothing to do with verumkai (not verum kamai - kai means hand). Kung Fu and Silat might owe some elements to Kalari, but not every Asian martial art derives from it.

Marvellous demonstration. Can i see this workout and conditioning demonstrated against athletes around the world ? So i can truly appreciate indian strength training ?
@KarateTVtraditional
@KarateTVtraditional 3 ай бұрын
This exact method has always been used by martial arts practitioners...but more specifically Indian wrestlers... India has some good wrestlers with international standards ... Apart from them...maybe not... But similar kind of training has always been used by fighters, athletes ... Ropes, mace, kettlebells, clubs , etc...Will always be interesting to players ...it's a little more mobility / coordination focused strength training ✌️
@haroonmohammed6351
@haroonmohammed6351 3 ай бұрын
Yes, I understand the part about free weights like kettlebells. I use them personally along with dumbbells. A great many athletes around the world, especially the Russians use a lot of kettlebell training. I use gada / mace for training my shoulders, and its known as a good exercise for its effects on shoulder health. I use it after I do overhead shoulder presses. The mace training has helped me quite a lot in a therapeutic sense India does have a lot of wrestlers in the malla yudha /pehlwani tradition, but I really don't know exactly how they match up with the wrestlers around the world. I mean, after the great gama or Dara Singh, we dont have a wrestler who was as legendary. And we don't have wrestlers who bought in an Olympic gold, so idk how we can claim to be top notch at wrestling. Also, did India have an ancient version of kettlebells ? Can you elaborate ?
@haroonmohammed6351
@haroonmohammed6351 3 ай бұрын
@@KarateTVtraditional however I'm quite interested in that dumbbell movement you did. I do the same with kettlebells, but not that fast. How heavy do indian wrestlers go with that type of training ?
@KarateTVtraditional
@KarateTVtraditional 3 ай бұрын
@@haroonmohammed6351 mmm...cool✌️ The dumbell Exercise was explained In a video kzbin.info/www/bejne/g4OTdKSip6eXfLc The weights used for training are generally lighter...as the moves are more complex...but advanced people can go pretty heavy with those...for intense training..or sometimes for demonstrations ✌️

@haroonmohammed6351 3 ай бұрын
@@KarateTVtraditional thank you for the video mate. And I agree with the message too. Back in 2008, I joined a gym in india for increasing my strength. I don't want really big muscles, as its a waste for me to have lumps of muscles that don't have much functions. Unfortunately for me, that year SRK's Om Shanti Om came out, with SRK sporting six pack abs. Those abs changed indian physical culture. Everyone wanted abs, bigger muscles and a body to pose. So the gym instructors immediately started teaching me hypertrophy stuff. I said I don't want hypertrophy and they start laughing. I said I wanted heavy weights for 5-7 reps, a strength oriented progression, and the instructors say what's the use. It's sad to see that even today, the average Indian still can't understand that a different sport needs a different work out.

If he think weapons should be lighter in order to use them practically in a fight then he should know the weight of Maharana pratap and other old warriors 🗡️ sword and gada used even heavier then sword in old times Thats why inly super super super strong warriors only carry them and since ppl cant get that stronger by time, life style and other factors they stop using heavy gada and shifted to swords but even old warriors sword weights 80kg even when one was kid then how heaver gada supposed to be in even more ancient time
@KarateTVtraditional
@KarateTVtraditional 4 ай бұрын
Not only do I think Weapons should be reasonably light and practical for fighting....I also think... The stories of 20kg sword and 300kg armour were part of psychological deception which was common in medieval warfare. Udaipur museum, talks of lakshyaraj Singh Mewar ( descendant of Maharana Pratap) and some pictures of the Weapons of that time are good places to find out more about this ....✌️ I understand that these heroes are literally worshipped in parts of our country and I don't intend in any way to disrespect that 🙏I just feel ... there are way more important ( tactically) teachings that these heroes left behind for us. Eg: Having the farsight to adapt into jungle warfare seeing how fort warfare was almost obsolete ( battle of Chittorgarh) Jai Maharana 🙏
