Not just for dating, but what the introvert needs is someone who really understands them and puts in the time to get to know them. Just making friends with someone at work who is a very sensitive HSP/empath is an interesting experience. I'm a borderline HSP/borderline empath with a strong personality (I've come out of that quiet, reserved space but still totally understand it) and I'm just making them feel comfortable and drawing them out slowly. Even though we have an almost telepathic ability to understand each other and look out for each other it's coming up to 8 months now and they're just starting to feel comfortable enough to have a more personal conversation.

I’m also an introvert, and I’ve never been formally asked out on a date. Well, it may have something to do with the fact that I’m still a coward when it comes to things like this. I’m just casually taking my time, and that’s perfectly okay. There’s just a lot of creeps either offline or online, and so I do find this whole dating thing quite risky, even though it may also seem harmless on the outside.

Bar scene is thee worst option for a date. Especially for an introvert 🙄. Its an over-stimulating environment full of distractions. I prefer somewhere less noisy and more intimate if your trying to get to know one another. Also, I dont give it up on the 1st few dates. Showing that I am interested in more than a hookup. Even if there is a ton of chemistry and sparks are flying everywhere, I don't want to rush or force things anymore. I used to think I was anti-social because, I don't like big crowds but, I was taught that I may be a little socially awkward however, I am definitely social. I am just introverted. Which is an individual who does not like over-stimulating environments or rooms with too much energy. I am trying to lower my expectations and have more tolerance without compromising my integrity too much.

3 Quotes to Live By: 1) "Don't compare yourself to someone else, compare yourself to your yesterday's self." 2) “You can't go back and change the beginning, but you can start where you are and change the ending” 3) "Once you decide your lifes purpose, you will only have to pack one thing: "Your Heart." Love from a small KZbinr💙

1. People compare themselves to others that have things they don't have. If you hadn't achieved something in your past and you still haven't achieved it to this day - stop comparing yourself to others (including your past self). Accept yourself, be kind to yourself, and make changes as you go. 2. We don't know our ending, nor should we have an ending in mind. Accept the past and live for today. (Not saying you can't have goals!) 3. I agree. Also, your life purpose does not need to be big. Your life purpose can consists of simple things in life that you might already be doing; like caring for family, creating new/maintaining friendships, travelling the world, and keeping your body and mind healthy. Just my perspective. Have a nice day :)

And I changed that by participating in different things whose encourages talking - like literature club, movies club, English speaking club or talking in anonymous chat in web. Talking to strangers felt weird at first but over time it become more natural. Most people I meet don't believe me then I say I actually introvert. And that made me question introvertion itself.

When i didnt kow about this personality and psychologie stuff round it, it has always been really hard for me to understand why i feel or think so diffrent in certain situations because i dont really have any friends or people round me that can relate to me or understand me in a way. It always felt i had to apologize or justify for everything. I overthink so much even if its just a "Hi" I focus on the ton the person said it. I sometimes dont even say thinks i want to say cause i know the people dont understand me. Beeing 16 and in puperty doesnt really help then. Your contant helps me to understand why i might feel, think or act diffrently in situations and gives me tipps like this video. I didnt want to say with that, that i am not happy with myself it just can be really frustrating sometimes. I love helping or understand things/persons the way i do. I just wanted to say thanks for that. Ps: My english might be not the best so idk if I sometimes wrote weird lines or stuff.

Hi! I am an INFJ and older than you are. I felt the same way when I was a teen. I gravitated towards people older than me (safe people) who understood where I was coming from when I was in college. My peers finally understood me once they were married and with children, because they had to be interested in the topics I had been interested in all along (politics, history, economics, etc.). Once you’re out of high school you will have the opportunity to meet a variety of people, so it will be easier for you to find “your tribe,” people that understand you for who you are without having to explain yourself all the time and fear being judged. Even if they don’t understand you at first, you can find some very receptive people who deeply care about you. Don’t lose hope-a wonderful world of new friends await you. Peace friend ♥️

@queenpangaea33253 жыл бұрын
How about "yes". Well fed doesn't mean overeating. I'm in Overeaters Anonyomous because I have an eating disorder, too. The video explained if you get too hungry you can't concentrate on the things you need to concentrate on. Eating a small healthy snack keeps your stomach from grumbling and your blood sugar from getting too low. I used to make the mistake of starving myself thinking food was the enemy. I do understand our disorder is different for each of us. In my case, I've learned getting too hungry makes my blood sugar too low (no I'm not diabetic), messes up my concentration, messes up my head, almost always causes a migraine, and then I get too hungry and I eat too much. BTW, I belong to an atheist/agnostic OA group, for those of us out there who don't believe in a deity, please know you are not alone, there are plenty of us out here.

I'm definitely an introvert and I find that when you tell people or try to explain to them that you favor more introverted actions they tend to get bored, mad, or uninterested. It's discouraging knowing that but after watching this video, I feel like I have a better idea on handle trying to be introverted and carry on a relationship.

It's not even about it you can start a conversation the way you want is just that dating apps is harder to start a conversation and even harder to keep one since most of the people there only know how to give one word answer so it does not leave many places to know people out there as a introvert and to make matters worse is easier o start and keep a conversation if you meet someone in person

I was wondering if you guys can do a video on how to heal from childhood trauma and also dealing with your emotions in a healthy manner I tend to feel like I don’t really know that I’m feeling a certain way till I’m all ready blowing up and taking my emotions out on others. I also am adopted and am trying to heal from all I went through as a kid with the help of my mom but I get really scared/anxious at the thought of becoming abusive/manipulative toward my kids (if I end up having any when I’m older) like my biological parents were to me.
@RY-os9vw3 жыл бұрын
Therapy (w/a therapist that you connect well with and is safe) will help with address the childhood trauma and give you new skills so that you don’t repeat the old habits you learned with your adopted caregivers. Good for you for wanting to heal and for being a better person for your future kids. ♥️

I feel that this video was directed toward women. You completely skipped the hardest part of dating for men.... Actually getting a date in the first place. Approach anxiety can make a guy seem nervous and that's an instant turn off. Building up attraction isn't easy for someone that is introverted or socially anxious. Showing charisma and confidence aren't easy things to do for a guy that's anxious. If a guy can't do those things, he'll never get a date in the first place. This even applies when using dating apps. Could you make a video on that aspect of dating as an well?

I'm shy and an introvert. I hate dating! Especially online dating, but how else do you meet someone these days. From my experience, a lot of men want me to show affection and open up after one or two dates, I find that way too soon! I might give it a try again but for someone like me it is not fun, I'd almost rather go get a root canal!

Almost any date I’ve been on (which really isn’t that many at all) has led to no second one. There was this one guy I was going to start dating but after a couple weeks of talking he then out of no where said he may have a boyfriend soon and then told me all about him. I felt betrayed and alone because I told him so many things about me I do not tell any one else. Eventually a month passed by and he starts talking to me again. I didn’t want to be alone so I decided to give him a chance. But then he started talking to me like I was his Boyfriend even though we’ve never gone a date before and I got scared, worried he wouldn’t like what he saw when we actually did meet. So then a few months pass by and we start talking again and he tells me all about this new boy he’s into, how perfect he is. By then I had actually seen what he’d looked like and learned more about who he is as a person. And I got jealous, I hated that though, then he told me a few days later that the boy he loves didn’t love him back, it filled me with joy and relief. And I despised it with every inch of my soul. I felt like a monster, but I kept going and then swooped in professing feelings for him and I felt awful for it. But I do desperately didn’t want to be alone. A couple of days later he comes to me and says he doesn’t want to date me, that he’s been comparing me to the last boy he loved and how that just isn’t fair. And all I could think was he’s right, and how unfair it was of me to just interject myself into his rejection and expect love. Since then I’ve learned I have a real dark side when it comes to this kind of stuff, I’ve been jealous before, but never to this point. Now, I’m just waiting, hoping I may grab the attention of someone. Even though I know deep down a relationship requires equal effort.

As someone who tends to overthink, I realised this is actually the worst thing you can do because if you’re overthinking, you’re trapped in your mind, if you’re trapped in your mind you’re not present which means you’re not even engaged in the date.
