Wonderful! I have been stretching frequently over the past several months but for the most part are stretches that I learned playing sports. I liked seeing the twist of the hips in downward dog so a video on how to deepen basic stretches or any stretches would be awesome! I am also severely lacking on the strength and balance part of yoga. A video on balance would be helpful as I am always on the brink of falling over in warrior pose and the like. I am going on forever but, I really liked practicing placing my weight on my hands and off of my feet, thats something I haven't seen elsewhere that I will for sure practice often! Keep the videos comin!

Amazing! I feel like a did sun salutation for the first time! I’m wondering why chaturanga felt easier after shifting the weight on the hands and jumping to plank 🤔. Your twists and instructions make a simple sequence very beneficial! I’d love more videos where we get to understand a simple posture and its benefits rather than achieving a difficult one. Thanks 😘

Okay sure thing! Any particular posture? Maybe a downward facing dog, or upward facing dog? Let me know! xx

Hey Adelle, I twinged my shoulder muscle trying to keep up with this flow haha I am far from what you are capable of with your body. Would love more modification options during the flow to work my way up to it. Xx

So sorry to hear that Chloe! I do have some gentler flows and my newer flows are probably better -- I have improved as a teacher I think (I hope!) This video is pretty old.

I am so grateful for all the knowledge you share, Adell! You are one of my favorite yoga teachers. This flow was indeed invigorating. I tried the crow pose like you suggested here, with knees behind the elbows - it hurt and I barely managed to switch my weight forward, very uncomfortable for me. I practice frequently this pose and I am able to balance it quite well when having my knees above the elbow. I'm curious why do you insisted on the back of the elbows? Thank you so much!
@AdellBridges3 жыл бұрын
This is because then your weight is stacked over your hands directly, and so you don't have to use such a huge amount of core compression to hold the knees higher. But if it doesn't work for you, then keep at it in the way that does! :-)
