Man I love this song. I’d even call it one of the most underrated from the past 20 years. If I recall correctly, it barely cracked the top 40. I think some people simply couldn’t countenance an INXS without Michael Hutchence. It’s a shame. I could listen to this on repeat all day.

It's not fair to compare JD to Michael, he wasn't "replacing" him. JD Fortune is one very talented guy and was the best fit for INXS from the show. I was lucky enough to see his first concert with them here in Vancouver, BC. It's confusing as to why he's not still with INXS and just what happened. When they said they were looking for a new lead singer, I didn't think it was just temporary. As far as I was concerned, JD was THE LEAD SINGER of INXS and still should be! JD is doing his own thing and I can't wait for him to hit the charts...even if it's country as he's been doing in Nashville.

Did you all not watch the reality show as shown here in America - where INXS (one of my fav bands) had a contest to try and find a singer for the ‘new INXS’? It was a major show here. JD was the easy winner. We saw INXS with JD in concert in LA and he nailed it! Too bad his old negative, dark, druggie habits became too much for the band and JD was out! I love INXS!!!!!

This is one of INXS finest pieces of work post Michael Hutchence. The vibe, magic & energy is all there. JD is an amazing singer that earned his spot with INXS probably with more credibility than Adam Lambert becoming the front man for Queen. Anyways, all these years and this song still gets me all pumped up. I hope JD is doing well today and enjoying a great career.
@DunmoresMovieMania5 ай бұрын
From a recent feature on him, it looks like JD is moving from couch to couch with his guitar and a handful of crumpled songs written on scraps of paper. Not disdaining him - I thought he was a great choice for INXS - the best choice, considering the tragic circumstances they were in - but from that feature it seems like JD went Vinnie Vincent on them and let his knucklehead flag fly too high. Poor guy. And poor INXS guys too. Their career cut short inadvertently - first with Michael, then with JD...
