its weird but if you look into it alot of higher mages can fight servants effectively but not many can physically contend with servants like shirou emiya or iori are capable of doing

I'm glad they gave Iori some magecraft to help differentiate from Musashi and what we know of her. Iori is gonna be so confused when he learn Berserker's true name and she might be interested in what circumstance lead him to learning some magecraft tricks. Also wonder if Rider's armor is one of the healms she has is one of the 2 from her legend just with the interpretation of it being a full armor set. I think it'd be cool if you could see Raikou without her armor and then see her place the helm on magicing her armor onto her.

Yeah I don't think we ever saw musashi use it though she was aware of its existence and she does use her magical energy in other ways(for her mystic eyes, and to reinforce herself in general) Knowing either of the musashi I can't see it being disdain for it and rather more they just were never good at it

1:04 Iori and Yui are the 2 masters I hope become servants in future content after Samurai Remnant, so it's nice to see Iori getting some feats in early on. It's like seeing Shirou progress throughout the 5th Grail War which contextualized the groundwork of him becoming Archer in the future.

I think I pieced together who the Assassin servant is. In my opinion it's the famous Snake Magic user Orochimaru. He just has too big of a snake theme not to be him. Honestly I hoped to get him as a caster. It seems like many Japanese magic users end up as assassins for some reason.

Orochimaru's probably second likeliest in my opinion but the most likely for me has to be Koga Saburo. He's a ninja who was cursed by the Yamata Orochi and the ancestor of FGO's Chiyome, who is a ninja with snake powers just like Assassin.

So I know it's been mentioned Lancer's master is a survivor of the amakusa rebellion so perhaps the trauma of having survived that resonated with Joan causing her to be summoned how we see her now? Not quite jalter but a Joan that is facing death and us doubting herself? I mean in the opening cinematic they do seem to put an emphasis on her right before she is set to be burned as a witch.

I just wanted to point out how that big explossion in the forest was most likely caused not by Rider, but Lancer. I mean even her description mentions how she controles purple flames, and that explossion was 100% purple flames.

I feel like saber might be a high servant of the base being Yamato mix with susanoo or Yamato being susanoo proxy like how cu was for Odin or saber Charlamange for Charles de grobe. Jalter might also be a composite servant as well

I'm pretty convinced that's probably not Jalter at this point. At first I could accept maybe her identity was being hidden behind "Lancer" as a kind of marketing conceit, but now after they've revealed the wandering Servants that we're already familiar with using their true names it seems weird to treat Jalter differently were it indeed her. I think they'd also likely want to play up her personality a bit more, as doing Jalter without some of that chuuni hamminess feels like it's missing her particular appeal.

Perhaps she's - as people have speculated - Claude des Armoises who posthumously pretended to be Jeanne, or she's actually one of the other saints who similarly died via burning on a stake and with this being Fate they gave her Jeanne's face. I honestly don't see the point to making her identity ambiguous if she is just Jalter at the end of the day.

Hakuno from extra bodies Ritsuka tho. Sure, latter has Shadow servants, but it's inconsistent and Extella Link Hakuno can do it too if they wanted. Not to mention LE HAKUNO can actually throw down with martial arts or code casts which automatically means so can the normal version if they wanted(since Nasu usually has samefaces the same in abilities/personality, see extra Rin/Sakura)

They are in 1651 Asakusa, Japan. Has nothing to do with FGO or the Extraverse but there are recurring servants from them
