These women are insane. I met my husband at the bottom of the barrel, we were both there lol. Fine dining for us was Applebee's. Most dates were walks, free events, pizza and Subway. He had my back and I had his. I'd go to his place, bring groceries and cook so he had lunch for the next 2 days. Some days he sent me $30 bucks when I was 5 hrs away doing my masters broke af. This man took a bus for 6 hrs to attend my graduation. Picked me up with all my crap in his dad's car to move me back home. Today we have a combined income of 200k+ and a beautiful son. This could be you too but you crazy.

You are living my dream life, kudos to you and your husband!! ❤ me and my boyfriend are 21 and at the "bottom of the barrel" right now 😂 I just started off in hairdressing and barely make $9/hour before tips, and my boyfriend is working food service and retail to make ends meet while being a caregiver to his elderly nana. We are saving so we can move out together, then he can go to school. We have been dating for 4 years, and we definitely both have made stupid decisions with money lol. 😅 our plan is to eventually save up enough for a homestead, we want to live as sustainably as possible on a couple acres. Wish us luck 🙏

@@TSSPDarkStar it’s disingenuous to say men pay anything close to what women pay to look good 🙄 Accept that men and women are not the same. Men put value on a woman looking as good as possible. Women just want men to do the bare minimum to wash up.

@@TSSPDarkStar That just doesn’t happen. When it comes to dating, we are talking about what actually happens because we are discussing a generalization and not a case by case event. Sounds like you're in good shape. If I could make one recommendation though it is try to find you a piece of land to buy and then put a mobile home on it. People make fun of it but I live on a little over 3 acres of land and a old single wide and I own all of it. A lot of my friends tell me how lucky I am even though they live in houses. They're all penny pinched when it comes down to money yet I'm able to save or spend money and do what I want. Renting is fine and it sounds like you got a good setup but I would definitely start thinking about something long-term and permanent. I know some people just like to rent so I guess if that's your thing then keep doing it but long-term it would be nice to own something. Especially in this day and age it's so hard to have anything.

My husband *STRUGGLED* when we were dating. He had to drain his bank account and spend his savings to help his mom afford life-saving surgery and to get her out of Cambodia because her business failed. It was a shitty turn of events that left my husband broke because his life savings were gone in a matter of hours. Not once did I ever think “oh he’s broke I can’t date him.” I stayed with him and was there to support him every step of the way until he ended up in a better financial situation. His love and self-sacrifice was what showed me that he was worth staying for.

We own our own home (no missed payments w/ 20 acres of land), raise our own food, just paid off our vehicle 3 years early, own horses, and raising 3 kids under 6 years old. Is it hard? Hell yes it is, but we sacrifice what we want for what we need and we are incredibly happy. I married my husband not for what he can give me in items but the kind of man he is and the kind of father I knew he was going to be. Now that he is making more money, still not 6 figures, his value has not elevated because of his increased income. His value to ME is elevated because he continues to be the MAN I met and later married and kept his values. I would MUCH rather be married to my hubby with his regular income than a rich man who doesn't value and respect others, himself or me. That's JMO.

Social media is such a double edge sword... we live in an age where the ignorants, the pretenders and the fools can have a voice as loud as the wise. It's easy to listen to any idiots share their garbage opinion on any podcast. Anyone with an ability to communicate can now spread their misinformation to a large audience... I hate that people actually listen to this shit and agrees to it. I actually saw that video on Valentine's Day, of all days, & posted my response on X: "Not long after my man & I began dating, he lost his job. We spent most dates back then going for walks, watching the planes fly in & out of our local airports while we talked, laughed, & listened to music, or we'd just hang out at my place watching TV. A couple of our dates were even just the two of us set up at a picnic table at some park on a nice day, stuffing & hand addressing dozens of envelopes to send out his resume. This year, we'll be celebrating our 30th anniversary (34+ yrs together). He's an amazing husband, a _solid_ provider, incredible friend, & and the best father to our child. The nice trips, restaurants, cars, etc. eventually came. What I had all along, tho, *from jump,* was a _good man._ I would've been the dumbest b*tch _alive_ had I put a wage minimum on our relationship."

Those women are so wack. I’m glad they’ve exposed their lack of character. when I met my husband he worked at a gas station, a parking lot, and drove Uber while studying for his masters. We literally went to the park for most of our dates and I’d make a picnic so he didn’t have to worry about buying food since he was so broke. Walks are some of my favorite memories of our courtship🥹. If I’d blown him off because he wasn’t 6ft and made pennies then I wouldn’t have the most INCREDIBLE husband in the world. The type of person who takes a bus after three jobs and going to class to see me for an hour before going to the next job. Now he makes the salary these women think they’re entitled to, but they sure as hell don’t deserve it.

Her contempt for the women who are willing to struggle with their partners is probably the most disgusting thing in this video to me. Everyone can have their delusions about salary their guy should make but to call women who don't prioritize disposable income "bottom of the barrel" is such a despicable take all I can think is that she knows she's not a woman that will ever experience a love like that a love that makes her want to stick through the tough times, she'll only ever love a wallet. There is a hollowness that can't be denied in that and people often chase further into the "addiction" to stave off the feeling of hollowness, it's why I think 100K has become the new "making it" bench mark by these people's standards cause it has to keep being more to make up for the hollowness that continues to be more prevalent.

When my husband and I got together and we were in school and broke. Now 10 years later we’re better off than most people I know. We have no debt, except our mortgage (which is also almost paid off). We are taking a weekend island trip this month, and a two week Europe trip in June… I say this to say, I don’t own a single name brand luxury item. The people I know with luxury items are drowning in debt and can’t afford to not work and take a trip. I handed him a water bottle while he was running 💁🏽‍♀️ Now I get to stay home with my two babies. Women don’t want to earn anything nowadays. They want instant gratification and their priorities are messed up.

So dang true. Women who don't have their own money, their own career are at the mercy of the man "supporting" them. What happens when you need to leave or he throws you out? Do you have the ability to go work, do you have an education that you invested in? Do you have something to fall back on if amd when things go south? Because 75% of marriages fail, do you think all those couples said, well we will give it a few yrs but I'm sure we'll divorce. NO! no one EXPECTS to get divorced!! But it happens more often then not. Keep your options open, always keep your career, always have money set aside that only you have access too on both sides! This crap where my money is my money and your money is my money? No sir/ma'am that shit don't fly! Look out for yourself, take care of yourself, and hope things go well but always have a back up in case they don't! Don't ever expect someone else to pay for you in everything, that is where you'll get taken advantage of and you'll have to choose between safety or food/shelter.

The median is pointless here. The number you are drawing from is all Americans ages of 15 and up (239,100,000 Americans) that make more than $1 a year. The mean which was the average of the entirety of that demographic was actually 59k a year. Which is reported everywhere. You're grabbing the median income when the group for this statistic starts at age 15. You see even more different numbers if you go from 25 and up, where most ADULT Americans are around the 50k mark. Look it up, you'll see that most americans ages 21 to 24 on average make around 30k a year, same for 16-19. With all of those in the mix at 15 and up, definitely do not go based off the median, because after 25 we see a drastic jump in individual income.

That’s the problem. People don’t see it and it’s not practiced. Why? People make money when people are not together (apartments, divorce etc. ) those hyenas don’t care about the “it’s better with two” equation. It’s just about THEM and what THEY can get from a man that they don’t need.

"If you're obese, don't date. If you can't manage the basic aspects of your health, you're not ready to manage a relationship." - me on that panel. See, had I been on that panel, I would have said that, and it would have been a major issue for them and a lot of other people. So, we can shame people and make absurd rules for them simply for making average money but not for being gross/large? I wouldn't be surprised if people throw a hissy fit for this comment despite the fact that I'm clearly making a point to say, STOP shaming people for being average. It's 'average' to work 40 hours a week and make $50K. It's not average to be obese.🤷🏿‍♂️

The irony of sitting in a room full of hearts hung on the wall, and not having even the most basic knowledge of what love actually is, is the most striking aspect of this video. And, the sad part is that they’re not the only people who think this way. Sad part is, I was used in exactly this same way. I was blessed to be making a lot of money, and my ex not only spent the loads of money I had given her, she also was out cheating on me. Lesson learned for me; there’s no way in hell I’m putting myself in a situation, where I have to spend tens of thousands of dollars on a woman, who is not my wife. This type of delusional nonsense, is exactly why falling in love is so hard. At that point, you’re not looking for a soulmate, you’re looking for a sugar daddy.

Interest only stated no doc loans and have my appraisers and real estate license. I truly embody the working waaayyy smarter than anyone else spirit. People just don’t think, too lazy to think and talk all this big game but never do it. I actually do what I say. Walked the walk and none of this is hard! Airline ground job throwing bags and refueling isn’t glamorous but you still get free flights! No ged or high school education required. So why can’t you all do it too?? Because most are lazy and just drunk talk all this BS at happy hour and all the wrong women just eat it up all the lies. It’s hilarious. Mostly all women have no financial sense and discipline, self control and women lead CC debt and impulse buying. Because society still sees being in a relationship or married as the ultimate status of "human acceptance". Being single is treated like some kind of social leprosy that somehow means "no one wants you." The irony is the unhealthiest types of ppl are the ones who are never single because they can't handle being alone & use other ppl as void fillers to avoid addressing themselves. Most ppl in marriages are miserably complacent & neglecting their own partners or are too selfish to be able to maintain a marriage.

I have a problem with their attitudes when it comes to it. They don’t understand there is a plethora of other women cheering on that 10% man. But they “feel” those 10% men should still have to compete for them instead of the other way around. When they see they’re not getting chose, they go on the internet and do their bitter rants(where are all the good men at). Which if they spent a little time doing little self evaluation of themselves and ask what are those other women doing that I am not doing to get that 10% man, they’d realize their flaws. But nope they’ll continue down the road of shaming, insulting, and guilting those men into picking them. Which by far hasn’t work and will never work because those 10% have more option then them.
