As someone that's been a little critical of your decision to only show the build of this truck on Patreon I'm glad you've decided to show us long time regular subscribers the follow up of last weeks episode in seeing the completion of extending the frame on this build. Thanks I really appreciate it.

It’s tough man. He needs money to continue these projects. I have restored 1 truck. And it almost killed me financially. I couldn’t even imagine how much Mark has into these 3 trucks and his shop.

Hi Mark. Well Blake certainly knows what he is doing, and he takes pride in his craftmanship well done Blake! The plan you have for the frame prep is dead nuts on, going to take a awhile but well worth it, and you can bet your bippy someone will be looking for the frame weld.😉Thanks for the video, take care.

Hi Mark great episode, a little tid bit to pass along to Blake when cutting aluminum rub the sides of the saw blade and teeth with canning wax it works as a lubricant without adding oils into the aluminum and when he preheats any wax left on the rails will burn off, also when string lining with the string touching the frame at both end if your rail has a slight bow to it the string will follow the bow but if you put a stand off block at both outer ends of the string and pull it tight the string can't touch and will be straight then use a 3rd block as a gage between the string and the frame rail, but the 3 blocks have to be exactly the same thickness,

Awesome job Blake. Mark, you will thank yourself in the long run for calling in the pro. Thats probably one of the finest welds iv'e seen on a frame stretch. We used to do them in the oil field rig ups back in the day and he followed the play book to the letter. now just put your fishplates in bolt up the suspension hangers and your good to go.

phenomenal work by all, exciting build. the internet troll in me wants to point out that the moisture around the torch is not comoing out of the metal though, its just a byproduct of combustion condensing, and then being driven off again by the heat. Awesome vid, cheers

Adding wax too the wood blade will stop the aluminum from sticking to them and make them last longer. Looks awesome.

if you have room.. you could always add an extension to the side of the shop where the Iron Duke is parked.. but have the extension built as a paint shop / body work bay where all the grinding / welding / paint dust.. can be exhausted through a large vent fan.. Which will keep your other trucks alittle more dust free.. (I'm always looking forward to your next videos) inspiring me to do something about my project trucks

Beautiful prep work and tig skills!! Great progress and it's working out perfect where the seam is ending up, using that leaf bracket to shore up the outside while another piece of scrap frame will be thru bolted to sandwich the whole weld seam. I've got to admit that I was skeptical on how he was going to get this Frame properly welded. And of course I'm only watching it on KZbin so we don't see all of the stuff. I have cut aluminum frames with a circular saw. Cuts like butter. Reciprocating saw gums up and just messes up blades. I just went to a pawn shop paid $20 for a plug in saw and leaves a clean cut
