Thank you Patrick. You are one of the few You Tube guys I watch. I sold a 2016 Buick Envision II which had 90% of the things that you complain about. I know that the Buick was "feature rich" as a Fisker person told me. One you get a dishwasher, you don't want to go backwards and I fear that is what I should expect once a get my Fisker One, If they ever deliver it to me The Fisker One is 2x as expensive as the Buick and has less features. Maybe it was a big mistake. At 78 years old, I don't need to be beta explorer.

With the camera is really a pitty need to say if it´s raining or just summer it´s ok but in Winter conditions with more dirt on the street you have seen the result and that shouldn´t be there in that price class. I understand the consierns you having and with 78 year for sure you should not be a beta tester and in that case I may you take a more adult car - nothing here against Fisker BTW it´s a cool car and the will make there way but it will take a bit of time to be there where they and we like them to be. What build did you buy and are you getting soon the Ocean delivered? Cause if you have some time the car will be for sure better. Something else I just read out load you comment to my girlfriend and we booth totally blown away and find it so cool that and appologize is it´s really a compliment in your age (again really so cool) are using youtube and you even so engaged with it. I feel really pleased about it. And even and this is just out of my mind know if you so adaptive in all ways may the Fisker could be also a cool expericene there are feature pretty cool with the car. Good video and comments. Some observations based on what Fisker has said that may address some of your concerns, though I totally agree with you on these items also: * Auto Unlock upon approach is mentioned in the on-line manual, implying that this capability is coming in an update (in addition to using your phone to unlock) * The external sound volume is being changed (reduced?) in an update in the next three months * Profile settings are supposed to also include seat position in an update (from what I understand) * Rollback assist is also being address (and single-peddle driving) in the next three months (same update as the external sound volume fix) Again, just relaying what I've read from Fisker and seen on various forums where Fisker is talking to customers. Question : For the cup holder issue, is it possible for you to store your beverage in the open storage area below the cup holders? How accessible is that space when you are driving? Thank you again for your honest feedback. Still makes me look forward to our Ocean Extreme.

I was also thining about store it under charging station the issue there is that it will be rolling around and falling out so we need to buy an adapter for it. Space is really super I need to say in the car also for the backseats is lovely in the front also as you see I´m not normal sized person and I fitting pretty good into also if you would have longer legs all very cool. Hi Gerald, schön wieder von Dir zu hören hoffe alles fit bei Dir? Das stimmt vorne im Staufach hast Du zwei USB Anschlüße wie beschrieben hinten hat es nochmal zwei USB C unter der Konsole zum ausklappen. Ob Du jetzt Daten hier rüberspielen kannst habe ich allerdings noch nicht getested da ich wenn eigentlich nur Musik über prime höre oder halt übers Radio. Eine APP wo man Datenauswählen kann habe ich nicht gefunden, wenn aber die Techniker was auspielen gibt es weitere Schnittstellen und auch USB Ports die unter der Verkleidung liegen das geht alles ziemlich gut und easy.

Patrick, LOVE your videos and appreciate your candid problems or drawbacks. All of which should have been done initially, or as you say, can be done via OTA updates I'd think. With the state of the market, interest rates (not sure in Germany) the stock falling (im an investor) Electric sales in major decline, discussions that electric vehicles are going away and Fiskers own internal problems, would you still recommend this car? I have had one on order now for almost 2yrs, not received yet, and now see that you can buy one and have it delivered within 3-10 days or within 3-months. This pisses me off when others like myself have been waiting for years. I know the company needs sales, but at the very least, all current reservations should have CLEAR and decisive delivery dates with regular communication.

Hi Mike, first of all thank you so much and really love the kinds words and very good comments here. Not the easiest to answer. We also have high interest rates in Germany as you also getting the US what is a big issue for all private users and the companies. The stock is down and I´m thinking to make a small by in if we getting the next wave up again ( I like elliot waves) and would said if we retest on the way up again (if this was the valley) could be a good buying the dip. In the EU it´s fixed that we need to walk away from petrol cars I know in the US it´s based a bit on election you going to have and as far as I´m aware it´s also pretty much based on infrastructure (not that ours would be better here). The lac of commucation is for sure consierning all the time I talk about the car I think how is the best way to adress it a bit and if I see comments like yours where you not get any comunication that´s make me feel really said I also work as sales director and I know how important communcation and service is also as an early customer you should be get much better service feels like a slap in your face seeing there models on the market from them delivered more or less next day was also supprised seeing this. The car drives lovely also here now in winter conditions there are issues clear issues and as you may feel it hard to say I not think I made not a bad choice with it there are pain points but I hope they will be fixed from Fisker. It´s depends bit about your nature can you life with some bugs and issues for that money and like to invest in to the future of a company then go for it if not then you need to walk away. hope that helps you a bit?

My 2015 Range Rover Sport had a water jet to clean the back up camera lens so it’s not a new thing for a car maker to put in. If Land Rover can do it then it isn’t that difficult for Fisker too. Problem with the Fisker is it doesn’t have a rear screen wiper so no piped washer water to the back of the car. Even my 2020 and 2023 LR Defenders have rear cam washers as standard. I also have a Mini BEV and it heats the front seats and the heated steering wheel in addition to brining the cabin to 23C in the pre-conditioning mode.

Thanks, Patrick, for this video! I think with the rear camera, if Fisker would just make the do a "Birds Eye" view from the top when you back up. This a pretty wide SUV and parking this car at the moment is a challenge some times.

Aber die Wasserflasche passt doch sicherlich unter die Mittelkonsole. Also in das Fach auf dem Mitteltunnel, oder? Das mit dem fehlenden Griffen am Dachhimmel finde ich auch recht schwach. Und auf das Rückfahrgeräusch werden sich meine Nachbarn freuen 😂. Und hoffentlich kommt ein Shortcut um die Assistenten auszuschalten. Aber trotz allem freue ich mich auf meinen Ocean. Hi, ne leider nicht ganz und dann musst ja die Armlehne auf lassen also nicht ganz so cool mich nervt es weil ich doch schon auch mal strecken fahre, klar bisschen jammern auf hohem Niveau aber trotzdem nervig. Der Griff nervt meine Freundin bis aufs Blut ich find es geht aber ist halt kosten erspart. Hatte das mit dem Geräusch gar nicht so auf dem Schirm bis meine Freundin bei uns eingeparkt ist ich dachte mir was jetzt los ein Ufo also das ist lauter als ein Sportwargen wenn Du den Startest. Und ja definitiv um das jetzt ab zu Runden Du kannst Dich auf das Auto freuen es ist sehr gut und die meisten Sachen werden sicherlich mit Updates behoben.

Die heutige Pressemitteilung von Fisker bzgl Softwareupdates lässt wieder auf vieles hoffen. z.B. Hill hold usw. Und zufälligerweise auch "alter the external vehicle sound and lock-unlock to be lower pitched while driving and more pleasant based on customer feedback" Die nehmen sich die Kundenwünsche echt zu Herzen.

Da unten drin fällt die raus und überleg die fällt dir in fußraum net cool das ganze ist jetzt nicht das mega thema wie gesagt aber selbst ein Skoda hat eine kleine auswölbung in der seite und gut ist. Fisker ist gut und nimmt viel Feedback an ich versuche auch über den Kanal hier solche Dinge anzustoßen das es was bringt nicht nur bei ihnen direkt. also verstehe komplett was du sagst mit jedes update macht auch das Auto besser und sie haben sich schon ecth um eingies verbessert.

Patrick, I just got call from the Fisker Delivery group and we scheduled the delivery for Thursday, Dec 7, 2023. Hopefully that actually happens. We have used Bridgestone Blizzak tires for the past 10 years on the top of our mountain. They don't make this model in 22" size. What model of Bridgestone winter tires did you get in Germany? Is a 22" diameter wheel?

Thanks for the info. I thought that you had 22" tires. On my mountain, we've been using Bridgestone Blizzak tires for a decade and they always work in the snow when other the tires don't. If the Fisker standard all season tires don't work in AWD with their high torque, then I'll investigate buying 20" rims with Blizzak tires. Just another $1500 I'd rather not spend. @@gentlemensworld

I thought you are a true fan or a shareholder!! joking! cheers! ps: you are right on the issues, but i think it's unlikly that fisker will improve the hardware related issues soon; (altough i also advocated for better storage and trunk space).the software related issues are best candidates and some of theme exist because the software is incomplete yet (comfort entry/keyless go it's a stated feature not implemented yet, so the profiles should). hopefully a "store settings and override defaults with last trip settings" feature should come up soon because other automakers are doing similar things to help drivers living more comfortable with EU mandatory rules.

I had stocks in the past but sold them for the 5k prepayment for the One. At the moment I´m thinking to rebuy with 1.50 Dollar was may a good point let see if the retest somehow a lower high and go up again then I will buy some and see if they sky rocketing. ;-)

I have had this car for 7 weeks. Nothing but problems and horrible service from Fisker. Anyone who is looking to purchase should be warned. I have every multiple errors on every drive. I am on software 1.08 and the ADAS is completely broken. I currently have 10 cases open with no ETA's from Fisker. The good - build on the outside is nice. That is it. My Jaguar iPace was so much better. Patrick - thanks for your videos.

You should get the OS1.10 update as soon as possible - either OTA or downloaded by Fisker technician - then things will be stable as is the case for Patrick and others who have had their sowftware updated

@@gentlemensworld According to the app I am on 1.08. A technician called and said that there is a known bug in the app and I am actually on 1.10. The ADAS module is buggy no matter what version I am on. I don't think that 1.11 has hit the US yet and the techs here have said that they have no way to to OTA updates. It is all under central control.))

@gimmeroc7172 Yeah that´s correct if you had the 1.08 and there been a OTA done you should be at 1.10 it wasn´t went trough via OTA in the display for whatever reason when a technician is installing it then it should be ok. Strange with the 1.11 thougth this comes out regulary across all countries can ask today the technician when he comes by. The ADAS still not work 100% with the update BTW specially when there are more harder conditions as snow heavy rain etc.

Until now I liked your vlogs, but this one is so so strange, are you kidding me, probably you want someone else instead of you also driving, about cup holder, it is impossible to be made a cup holder space that can fit all know bottles sizes, if it is now way bigger, you'd probably gonna say it is way bigger for a regular coffee cup, come on mate, about front camera, the idea of the rear is because you don't need to use rear mirror or reverse yourself backwards, when you go in front why you need front camera, about cleaning the reverse camera, probably it needs one small monkey to clean it for you, come on mate.....stop joking and show things like where you are going with it, how long it last the battery, etc etc,

Look some of the points I just used already from past cars other cars I´m driving and in that range I kida don´t think this should be missed most of the stuff will come for sure with updates. Thant you don´t have in a SUV a place for a bottle is a tinny thing (may I also just like to show that there a not major issues with the car..) i´m parking back and forward at my home to have booth would be great on the screen is a recommendation becaues here in Europe we have very tinny parkingslots instead of in the US it´s a gimmig what would be pretty cool to have caues also in the front we have high stoping stones what can harm your car. And all cars I used to have have the cleaner for the rear camera (parking camera) we have here winter, sommer etc. lot of dirty roads therefore I would be cool to have it. I love animals a monkey would be not needed but a washer itself would be nice (spraying out water). Again cool feedback really appreciate it.
