Holy moly! This was amazing . Externally rotating the shoulders and bone stacking makes all the difference.

READY TO LEARN CROW POSE AND CRANE POSE? LET'S DO THIS!! ✌️ Addition to the video: It is very common in the beginning that placing your knees on your arms is uncomfortable and can create bruises. Just like anything new, you'll get used to it the more you practice and won't have bruises anymore. Listen to the body and take breaks when you need them. Keep it playful and have fun.

Thank you for this! I have been confused about where to place my knees. The tip about bending the knees to create the flat spot is brilliant. And starting with the knees outside the elbows is such great advice. I appreciate this so much.

thank you so much your video was the best instruction one I found on KZbin here you made it so much easier to understand how to do it I did it and held it for a few seconds today I have watched a lot of your other videos so I found this video and it makes more sense a lot of others use blocks or have you go right into the high crow instead of doing lower or easier variations and working up to the main pose

Wow the rising with the core and locking in with knees helped me get this right after I couldn’t do it before I watched!!! Thanks

Thank you so much for this detailed tutorial ❤️. I was getting very confused lately. I have watched a few different tutorials. The basics explanation is the same everywhere but the details differ so much. And crane and crow get mix up some times. So thank you again. Namaste🙏🏻

I like how thorough you guys are. Many people need to know minute details like which part of the hands the weight should be. Surprisingly, though, you didn't mention shoulder depression (very important!).

Great tip to start with the knees outside the arms. It's still hard but more manageable as a first step. Also good to know that falling forward is common in the beginning!

I have been practicing Crow pose for the last few days and can hold is for 10s now, this breakdown was helpful! I currently put my knees on the outside because I found putting them on my triceps was really painful on my arms. Is that normal or was I doing something wrong? Thanks again for the awesome content!

That is normal and your arms and skin will get stronger and bruises won’t happen anymore some day.

Please help me i have watched and read tons of stuff about crow poss i can do all steps until my knees slip and become unbalanced then i fall on my face. When i try to go forward my knees go out of my elbows or slip.😢
@flynnsquirrell73124 жыл бұрын
Does the knees being stacked on the elbows put pressure in the elbow bend. I have been experimenting with these poses but worry about damaging my elbows from the weight of my body.
@BreatheAndFlow4 жыл бұрын
it's not on the elbow joint but right above it, the bottom of the triceps, as we explained
