Bre and Flo are the real deal and by far my favourite teachers of....yoga,lifestyle, meditation,c.a.r.s, mobility, etc...I've learned so much. This embark program helped introduce me into the world of yoga and natural health and wellness. Just try it, you might like it, or not, either way you won't know until you try. i started yoga 4 days ago and been browsing youtube for vids, i found the one of your fella where he explains his injury and the 3 poses he did to help the sciatica so i watched it all. when he mentioned he used to skateboard i instantly related because i used to skateboard for 12 years doing similar things jumping down stairs ect but fortunately never had an accident. when i was 21 ( now nearly 36) i woke up and couldnt walk and was in agony, long story short ive had 3 lower back operations since 2009 and alot of horrendous periods of pain. anyone whos needed surgery due to chronic back injuries from bulging, herniated or burst disks will know the pain is awful. ive tried for years to do exercise, swimming, walking, hiking, cycling and pilates but no matter what i do i will never be free of my injury due to complications. i decided to try yoga and i am enjoying it. ive discovered how truelly broken my body is as i cant even sit crossed legged for 30 seconds without my thighs hurting so i bought the blocks which does help, i can barely bend and do these poses with grace like most people can, my muscles are so tight but im going to continue this journey as i really want to feel more flexible and i will seek out a local yoga teacher for weekly classes. ive watched 3 of your videos, subbed and will continue to follow you :)

This is my first step into yoga. I was unsure of what to expect after this session. Even though I've never been a very fit guy, I've been getting even more out of shape throughout the pandemic. I found your channel yesterday when I decided that it was time to do something before my belly gets any bigger, my knees hurt any more and my lower back aches any worse. This video was perfect! I've done some yoga in my past (five years ago and beyond-very off an on) and I've always enjoyed it, but always hated having to pack things up to go to a class, feel all sweaty and make my way home. This class was the exact amount of challenging for me in my current shape and I'm really excited for what tomorrow brings. I don't know how you do it, but your positive energy really radiates through the video. Thank you!

First day of this program while I'm in treatment for lyme disease. Been sick for 15 years. Last year I was bedridden, this year I'm walking again and doing yoga daily. I contribute yoga to one of the most important habits I've seen progress with, both mentally and physically. My body also looks so much healthier, my dr and physical therapists both said things like my coloring has come back and some spinal issues where the lyme attacked has begun to heal. I've started with yin but I'm wanting to deepen my practice and make it a lifestyle and do more fit focused yoga, then I found you guys. You seemed to live a yoga lifestyle, the retreats look amazing, which I've always wanted to see if learning and applying some yoga practices to my life would help further my physical and mental healing. Thank you both for providing these videos to help beginners!

There are so many videos out there, but yours are by far the best and easiest to follow. I am doing yoga for several reasons: ex police/military stresses associated with that, went through a painful divorce/custody issues, bad shoulder, general fitness, then met an amazing woman that introduced me to yoga. I love it even though I have exercised my entire life and keep fit. You know yoga is like sushi, many never try either but once you do, you are hooked! #nameste

I've been practicing meditation for about a year now and always focused on self improvement. I've been training MMA since I was 12, I'm 24, my body feels alot less rigid after following this video and it also enhances my mediation, I believe this is the correct way to connect the mind and body together. I've started strength training/weight lifting a year and a half ago and relatively gained a lot of mass where as I was underweight before and I didn't realize how stiff I've become until I tried this. I was sweating by the end. Truly a different experience and not just a physical one. You might have me hooked for a lifetime now. Thank you.

Hello. Today is day 1 following your 30 day beginner calender. I feel relaxed and warm after this video. I am very new to yoga, I always thought it wasn't for me. TBH the only reason I started was to improve back pain. I am surprised at the unexpected benefits, now I want to make yoga a regular practice. Having tried a few different videos I think yours is a good fit for what I want to explore. I'm looking forward to the next 30 days :)

Thanks you two!! I just completed Day 1 -- such a lovely meditative gentle beginner practice! My lower body is strong, but upper needs strengthening, was a great intro for that. Loved the breathwork! It's been a while since I've done the nadi shodhana pranayama, very balancing. At the end b4 child's pose, I incorporated mantra: on the inhale/exhale: metta, moksha, ananda (loving kindness, freedom, bliss) for anyone reading this who is unfamiliar!. Excited for Day 2! I'm excited that I get to try out this program "live" (as you release the videos). I am also a yoga instructor and I feel really inspired by both of you to create more content to introduce people to different styles of yoga online.. especially on KZbin because it's such an amazing free resource for many (so many people that need this resource cannot afford private lessons or pricey studio memberships). My yoga journey began with instructors on KZbin! I want to make this practice as accessible to all people no matter their physical, mental, or financial capabilities--you guys are doing an amazing job at doing this! Thank you!

I've tried following along with a couple of your videos and I'm enjoying it. Having wanted to try yoga for a while now, I've looked around and followed along with other videos as well. While they were good to try, I can see myself sticking with yours. I typically would finish a class and constantly think about how poorly I did or where I need to improve right away. I just did the first meditation class for the series and also did the first class in the EMBARK program. I have been healing the past few years from a trauma and have been holding it in my body- this was the first time I have felt so connected as if I was in a yoga studio class with a favourite teacher.. you both have such calming, kind and gentle energy. I have only been doing restorative yoga up until now- this was the first time I felt that I was testing my body and delicately pushing it and I felt so held and guided by your instructions.. Thank you so much for this! I've been wanting to try yoga for a while now and our physical therapist recommended your channel. I've always struggled with asthma and the breathing exercise helped me a lot :)

I can´t believe it. I did my first yoga class. I used to say yoga wasn´t for me and here I am. The sitting position is not easy. I tried to focus on doing it regardless of the outcome. I guess improvement will come over time. Thanks!
