My story with crossing legs: I’ve been crossing my legs since I was a teenager. Because it helped me to feel less dizzy. I learned I have POTS (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and that during the Tilt table test my blood pressure dropped to 53/38 ( or around that). It really shocked my doctor and it was even lower then when I went under surgery before (80/58 I believe)

@anelf37675 жыл бұрын
I asked my cousin who's a nurse. She said they work hard to help and get the patient out of the hospital as soon as possible so that there isn't enough time to become emotionally attached. It also depends on age because if it's a person down in age that you know has lived life then yeah, you're happy to have them be out of the pain and misery but if it's a young person-say a 30 yr old with lung cancer though he's never smoked-then you are expected to feel some sort of remorse for them and their family. Also with that comes the fact that if they see it better for the person to be dead because if they were still alive and out of the hospital then they would be in serious pain still then yeah they would be somewhat happy to see them pass away.

Tianna Elizalde he’s a master manipulator. Long story short there was this big scandal where his main friend group were being super shady towards Jeffree star and they were fighting about things he said in the past. Manny basically threw all of his friends under the bus when people looked into all of their histories and saw they’ve all made fucked up comments too. He then lied about the fact that he tried to make others take the fall for him. He never genuinely apologized for all of this. He’s also done other shit too but this whole thing was the reason he lost a million subscribers in a week :)

3:03 From someone who has and is dealing with self diagnosed depression for 15+ years, I appreciate this being talked about. I have faltered a lot in my life and trying to find the will for myself to do something has been very hard. Lately, I've been trying to do more with my life and it's been helping me. Starting new projects, making new friends, talking to them about how I feel, exercising on a regular basis, saving money and seeking actual help once I have money, and just trying to live my life. Hearing this reaffirms everything I've been trying to do because doing all of it is giving me more will to keep going and doing then when I was just waiting to feel that way to do something. From someone who's spent most of their life just waiting for it to happen, make your life happen and watch to see what happens. Never give up and keep trying. You can't win unless you try.

I sneeze about 4-23 times in a row very quickly, everytime I need to sneeze.. it's quite hard to hold it in, yet I feel so awkward doing it around new people who don't know me..
@Qweryll2 жыл бұрын
You sneeze that many times in a row?? Holy cow. The most I've ever gone up to is 5, and usually it's around 3 or 4 for me. What I do is I pinch my nose shut during the sneeze, and it comes out really quiet. It works for me but it doesn't work for my friend so idk.
@anasazidarkmoon2 жыл бұрын
I have a friend with a similar problem, where she has a bunch of little sneezes in a row. It's quite terrifying when an attack hits while she's driving, because she can't see where she's going, thanks to the sneezes forcing her eyes shut.
@toastarkat Жыл бұрын
This just made me notice a pattern in my own family. My mom sneezes once at a time, I would sneeze in pairs (nowadays it tends to be one), my sister sneezes in threes, and my brother sneezes in fours. What a beautiful numerical family I have lmao

They are less likely to cause TSS because the silicon is not absorbent. You have to clean it every time though. But it's safe for 12 hours where some tampons are only safe for 4 or 8 max.

I used to take a regular pill (so estrogen and progesterone) as birth control and did have a little weight gain. It’s supposed to be just water weight but I did have a little bit extra weight even when I was taking it for a long time. My period got worse so I went to see my gynecologist about changing my pill and she recommended a “heavier” one. I gained even more weight and my boobs were permanently swollen. At that time I even had a D-cup. My period got even worse to the point that I didn’t know if a different pill would help anymore and I didn’t like the effects of the pill on my body, especially my boobs. My gynecologist then gave me a different pill with no estrogen, just progesterone, so I wouldn’t have those effects and also not have my period anymore. I have since lost weight (not dramatically), my boobs aren’t swollen anymore (I am somewhere between a B and C cup now) and much happier. In short: it isn’t supposed to happen, but yes it is possible.

Hi Dr Mike! Question: Can you talk about organ donation? Some people are scared that the medical team withdraw care as soon as they found out they've sign their card. They think you guys let them die to take their organs. Can you explain how it really work?
@BruhImAGirl5 жыл бұрын
In my country, when clinical death occurs they try to bring you back for a short period of time and then they take your organs
@maggie10005 жыл бұрын
G Trottier I think the difficult thing about this topic is no one is gonna outright be like “yeah we let you die!” And it also depends on the doctor too. Dr. Mike has talked about how he thinks emotions are really beneficial so he probably wouldn’t do that. But there are plenty of stone cold cruel doctors that probably wouldn’t put as much care into a dying patient. To me it’s just one of those things you could never get a straight answer for
@MrGERiarza5 жыл бұрын
I don't fear that here in the Netherlands. Here there is a special team that harvest the organs when someone is dies and is a candidate. It is however unlikely that a doctor would let someone die to save another patient, the chances of finding a match is really small. From what I've understood, doctors will follow all the procedures and when there is nothing more that can be done when the person is already legally dead, then they start the procedure of organ donation, keeping the patient on the machines until the team arrives.
@iskarin5 жыл бұрын
Also, I'm pretty sure doctors aren't allowed to ask or look in the donation register until the patient is dead, and can therefore not deliberately let a patient die, since they won't know.

A lot of people don't realize this but it's better to sneeze into your shirt. Just lift the collar up over your nose. I mean you're going to wash your clothes and yourself and it stays contained in the shirt. Same goes for coughing. Especially with Covid and the suggestion to do elbow bumps instead of handshakes, fist bumps, etc. If someone has been coughing into their elbow because they unknowingly have covid and then they bump elbows with you and then you sneeze into your elbow then you just came in contact with that AND put it up to your face.
