You got it wrong at the beginning when you said “a man pretending to be a woman”… she is already a woman.

i said 'claiming'. if 'she' is already a woman, then how would you propose to ask the question, so that it is at least discussable? what about, 'is it morally wrong for a transwoman to claim to be a type of woman?'

@@marioksoresalhillick299 well that's not the question. i don't think it's wrong for a trans man to claim to be a woman. and i wouldn't ask the question with activist language ("assigned male at birth", as though doctors are assigning gender identities rather than sexes). but yes, is it morally wrong for a person observed male at birth to claim to be a woman is roughly my question.
