It's much stronger than I expected. Dirt-closing test gave me a little anxiety but I was surprised the softer foldable screen survived it in really good condition. Second time was bend test. It's promising that foldable screen survived pressing by fingers and streching by forced bending. It says a lot about it's potential behaviour in much less extreme conditions like normal, calm, everyday use.

@@fasctic3922 Except you are never gonna press that hard on the screen with your fingernails and the small scratches actually heal. @@bigredfella13 I know its been awhile, but im leaving this here in case youre wanting to get one. If youre one of the people that get a phone just to call people, and like basic stuff, then dont buy this. As well as if youre very picky and need everything perfect. Yes it is still new, but exciting! Ive had it for a couple months now, its very strong, quick, powerful, bright, loud, and responsive! I love the option to use closed or open, and its so nice to have extra screen space! So everything on this phone is so much better and amazing! It really is flagship. Then complains; I have a teeny tiny crack on the hinge after months of use, less than the size of a hair. Not noticeable unless you look for it. Then instagram. The reels are cut off because instagram doesnt have the right dimensions, but every other app works perfectly, and the rest of insta works great, just the reels are weird but you can just open it for that, especially when using for entertainment. Thats it though. I got it refurbished for $1400, and am absolutely LOVING it! Get a warrenty though! It makes you feel a lot better about the crease. But so far ive had no issues arrise that ive needed to bring up. So is it perfect? No. Is it reliable and still strong for a foldable? Yes. But new technology comes with that label, and if youre okay with that, get this phone!

I had replace the inner screen protector of Fold 2 after first week and after ten months of daily use there is no significant scratch or deformity on the screen. Although I keep my fingernail short I do play games on my Fold quite regularly. So Folds are not as fragile as many thinks. But ultimately it depends on how you use your phone. Normally I'd only use the inner screen when I am doing something that's more convenient with larger screen like watching video, reading news or books, using map or some office apps, emails etc. For my lifestyle having a pocketable tablet is more useful than a durable phone.

But when it's on charge and i say close it it will stop charging if i lock my phone it will stop charging then charge again if i just tap on the screen to check the time and then let the screen timeout it will stop charging then start charging again are any of you experiencing the same problem?

I bought my galaxy z fold 3 which I currently use, for 1,186$, not bad considering they are currently 1599 to 1899. I will say a reason it was so cheap was because there was light scratches on the front screen, and watching this video and seeing the front has a pre built screen protector that CAN come off, which I was told it couldn't, I got it off with just my fingers in 3 seconds and those scratches are all gone. So, thanks. Good video either way, I do believe this phone is built pretty well and durable, and this video does a good showcase of that. Especially considering draginf a knife and using a lighter is not something I plan on doing, but either way I have the s pen case for it. Although I'm pleased to know that when I draw with it, I'm not going to actually damage the screen, because I also thought the spring was pretty tough since it's supposed to help from pressing to hard.

Hey, one year later! Phone still works like new. However, I will the plastic screen protector on the inside folding screen, is removable if you do it gently. Which I did, after mine started comming off in the middle, and was gathering dust like crazy. I now have a new one there, since I use the s pen alot, but it is nice knowing, for about 20 bucks, you can replace any accidental scratches you make on the inside screen with fingernails or what not. Other than that, 3 years later, still 0 complaints of the phone. Fold 3 holds strong

7:20 I wonder what would have happened if you dropped the dirt from the other side of the phone on the hinge and unfold it. Imagining dropping it into the sand while taking it out from the pocket while it was closed. Also, if it started making cracking noises at the hinge can we rinse it off with some water.

@@YoungCarWiz Everything is overpriced. They make 200 sometimes 300 percent profit. An iPhone X costs around 400 dollars to make (Because it is made in China, to save money and to maximize profits), but Apple sells that phone at 999 dollars. They removed the headphone jack, so you buy their exspensive adapters that break easily. Apple also claimed that they will be helping the planet by not including the chargers in the boxes of the new iPhone 12, mainly because Apple users already have one. That is just an excuse so people have to buy it separately, causing more packaging, therefore nerfing the idea of saving the planet from trash. You have to look at Apple in a more broader perspective. Apple overprices because Apple users are going to buy it no matter what. If it is for flexing in school, or for reviews.

I cannot believe that phones are now coming without chargers and yet the cheaper ones come with 30watt plus chargers that can charge the phones in less than 40 minutes. There excuse is that its less environmentally damaging but its not because people will just have to buy the charger separately which means they are still being produced in large quantities.
