@@AlienDrones Ahhh, it's all right, I thought it was amusing. After much hand wringing I finally entered flight with a mini2se a year ago and have been having a real good time with it. I wrote to you about having to have remote ID on a sub 250 if it is FAA registered. You were 100% on that. If it is sub 250 and has an FAA # then it must have remote ID. My solution was since I erroneously registered it, I unregistered it on the website. Problem solved.

That's a lot of drone for the price. It's funny how it seems that nobody ever reaches their listed fly time. But at least 30 plus minutes is pretty excellent.

I have to be honest Keith. I thought that the D was for DUD, but it looks pretty darn good. It's really steady and the camera system looks fantastic. The battery, or flight time isn't that bad. I guess that company is starting to do some worth buying drones. Thanks for sharing. 👍👍👍

This, the V11 PRO from Veeniix (aka Ruko), and of course the SJRC F22 S3 PRO are all great beginner drones.... once the price adjusts accordingly. The camera quality, while decent, doesn't justify the high price tag of this drone from any of the brands.

Indeed there is no "original" manufacturer in this market as they all pull from the same "pool". With the different choices I would tend to lean towards the brand that has (or will have) the best support in case it's needed in the long run, so a personal choice for sure. Good flyer though, no signs of circling off into the wilderness, which is a good thing!

Awesome video as always, brother.. I think I heard your knees crack a little bit around 14:35 when you bent down between the drone and the landing pad... sounds like me... hahaha We have this drone, too and pretty much had identical results as you did. My biggest problem was the sticks being so stiff I couldn't seem to get any really good cinematic footage if I tried to yaw.... flying straight though it was awesome footage... I've heard there's a way to adjust the stick sensitivity but I can't seem to find it anywhere on the app... Any ideas?

Thanks! Haven't seen any stick sensitivity adjustments but if you heard something I'll reach out to HS and see if there's a hidden sequence or something. Would make a huge difference for sure. Otherwise, agreed, it's a really solid flyer!

I just checked with Holy Stone and there is no option in the app or buttons that allows changing the sensitivity of the sticks. 😕

Great video, I bought the same drone just over a month ago. I have a little wandering when trying to put it on the landing pad. I have not tried to return to home. Is that typical with a holystone? I’ve done the calibration all the time.

Thanks for sharing! Holy Stone does have some inconsistencies in stability. Thankfully I tested a couple of the 600D and they seemed pretty decent but the wind will cause them to hunt slightly near the ground but that's kind of typical of a lot of brands.

It's a good flyer and easy to fly. Start by looking through the manual so you know where the buttons and functions are and what they do. Then start in a nice open area and take it easy and practice a little you'll be good!

Is there a way to remount the phone in the vertical position? That would make the most sense when you want to switch to vertical mode.

Indeed it would make sense, except all the telemetry and function text would be sideways too. The remote doesn't accommodate the phone vertically either, so not sure what they were thinking, it's a mystery! 🤷‍♂

When your around chain link fence, or metal buildings or structures, things get wonky with the drone.

I know that sounds like it makes sense but in practice that's not the issue, the technology is much better than that nowadays. If you note the little interference indicator it was sitting at 6 or 8, which is basically zero since a high interference reading would be 1000. Flown hundreds of drones in this area with no issues, unfortunately these couple of quickshots just need a little TLC ... 😎

@AlienDrones I bought two of them with travel cases used for 2000 plus four batteries, one has the built-in screen on the controller. nothing wrong with it just seems like 60 FPS would be standard by now.
