Love the teamwork you two demonstrate in your videos. As a couple, off-roading can be stressful, but it’s very fulfilling when you work together to overcome obstacles. Keep the great content coming. ❤

This video is a very good demonstration for how a Jeep handles uneven terrain and obstacles vs a Bronco. The differences in suspension architecture is very apparent.
@barelymadeit Жыл бұрын
I completly agree! But its still pretty crazy what IFS can do these days.
@VictorDeveze Жыл бұрын
Not trying to bash the Bronco driver, just pointing out areas for improvement and clarifying the Bronco can do way harder trails. Everyone was telling him to go slow and I guess he didn’t get the memo 😅 he could have engaged lockers in the first obstacles to just make it easier instead of just flooring the gas, because that’s when stuff can break, you want to go as slow as possible, this isn’t Baja desert racing. The lines were not optimal, as seen when the camera cut to take #2. Like I said, not bashing on him, we all started as newcomers to 4x4, but it wouldn’t be wise to judge the performance of the truck based on this. Loren Healy did Pritchett Canyon on a stock Sasquatch Badlands, that tells you everything you need to know

Awesome video, last time I was on it back in the 80's, it wasn't just steep but the trail down was like shale. Try to brake and all you did was slide. Fun times

Thanks so much! That sounds awesome. Its always amazing to me how much these trails have changed over the years. That sounds like much more of s challenge than it is today. 😀

Nice video ! I ran red cone last year a few days after it opened and saw nobody. Early season is very nice. Later on after handcart opens it gets very busy.

We kept saying how surpised we were not to see hardly anyone on the trail. It was great to have it so clear. 😀

Could you do this trail in a 2023 Chevy Colorado ZR2? ...Comes with 3" lift and 33" tires stock with 10.7" clearance dual locking diffs...Your opinion? Could it do it?
@barelymadeit Жыл бұрын
Hey thanks for the comment! I would say absolutly! Those ZR2s are pretty sick! Its not a crazy tough trail, but there are some larger rock outcroppings, if you take it slow you should do great!

I have yet to see a Bronco not tripod, its almost like they are designed to do that but they are very capable, i have seen them do very well in Moab and in sand.

Thats true, ive never thought about it that way. They do perform well! Checkout our bunce school road video too, there is another bronco on 37s who joined us. He gets pretty tippy for sure. 😅

I've heard conflicting things about that gatekeeper. Looks like it's still there unchanged? How do you think a stock Gladiator Rubicon would do on this trail?
@barelymadeit Жыл бұрын
Yea, it's not crazy bad, but it is big. I think you'd probably be fine? Are you on 33s? You may use your sliders more. :-)
