Generally i don't care about sweeping quartz but here it makes a lot of sense. I slowed the video and unless i'm mistaken the seconds hand is hitting marking in the chapter ring! I'd say this is a quasi-chronograph accuracy in terms of reading. Very cool.

I have this on order with the ML05. Can't wait. Paid 100 Total. I thought that was well worth it. Great reviews. This is definitely one of the trusted channels I come to for honest and very informative reviews.

Just received one of these and I think it's great. Put it on a textured black rubber strap and it looks terrific. I love the "sweeping" quartz movement as well.

Wearing mine just now. Great watch. I don't like the strap but this watch is a real strap monster.

As far as I understand they used to be Baltany distrubutors but nicked their designs and sold them under their own brand name. Not great practice but I'm sure there's a lot of this going on with Chinese brands. I don't care as long as they keep producing these great budget watches.

I just picked this up for $52 on a Black Friday Ali Express sale. I plan on putting it on a black ostrich strap that I already have. The strap actually cost me more then the watch.

If anyone has received ML08 V2 made after they run out of stock, is bezel brushed or polished? I find contradicting info even on websites selling it.

That Is pretty cool. Particularly for the money. I wish they'd use a better lume bgw9 or something with more longevity. The Broad Arrow is a bit weird too, I don't mind it but I don't understand why they're using it either. They really should come up with their own vintage inspired logo or emblem.

I don't understand why everyone is getting the one with khaki numbers and strap. The black and white looks much better, even if it is on the nose for the actual Murph.

For my 16cm/6,3inch wrist the 38mm case diameter is about the maximum. Unfortunately many brands putting to long lugs even on 36mm watches, which is the real problem for those ones who have thin wrists, IMHO. This model has nicely short lug distance finally. I always loved the simple and aestetic look of the "Murph", but the original is not for me, and the homages were not right here or there. I think now this is the closest to my taste.

The shiny bezel is accurate to the Murph, but I do wish it was brushed.

@@dojoquintana nice! I had the blue V1 and loved it....recently sold it to fund some other watches (for the channel) I would have kept it if it want for the bracelet...that version used a butterfly clasp and polished outer links. New bracelet looks soooo much better

The term "homage" just really feels misleading man. Though they aren't attempting the same name/likeness they still get really close, which to me puts them in the "fake" category. There's clearly a market, and you do an honest service to this customer base in your reviews. I appreciate that.

@@Beefry222 but calling them a fake is also misleading. I like the term "Clomage" since it's a near 1:1 in design and everything, just the branding/straps, and movement are different.

@@EscapeWheel I get it, no argument here, just where my head is when I hear the term applied to watches. And if I saw this 38mm across a room I'd think "Ohhh, there's a Murph!" It's that close/deceiving, which is what Militado is going for, it appears.

if you can't tell in review will you be able to tell in person ? :) for real, there is a difference, the hands are lighter than the dial by a bit, but the surrounds on the hands separate them enough that the difference isn't very noticeable.

I’m noticing allot of that. With these watches. Common in China to use same machine and assembly shops. Minor changes, possible movement, name and huge price differences

@@HorizontalvertigoI think they've made improvements with their claimed water resistance. I have a Tandorio and I've worn it in the shower and went swimming with it and I've had no problems. Tandorio doesn't have very good lume but that's the only flaw I've seen with Militado as well.

@@Horizontalvertigo im using my tandorio 36mm field watch to go swimming all the time and its fine, been with me for 4 years now with like atleast 2-3 per month swimming and diving shallow salt water areas
