I am currently running these low dungeons as a freshly returned healer and it is such a bipolar experience. I did like 10-15 runs in the ~15 range over the weekend and it is the most stressful thing ever because in 50% of the groups people seem to actually actively try to prevent you from getting a timed run and you have to play your heart out trying to salvage these situations. But RARELY the stars align and one is blessed with 4 other semi capable people.

Yeah ive been gearing alts recently.... tho tbf im doing 20-22s on my tank and dps(monk/hunter) and its just now finally starting to get consistently good. If shit rough we restart at 1 lower.... if shits REALLY rough we just disband xd but its way less often.

@OneAzerothTV - something i only realized when carrying guildies, a lot of people cant see the swirlies in BH because of their graphics settings - i kept calling it out to them and had 2 people yelling back "it literally doesnt show up for me!" *boom dead*, they also played without mob HP/cast bars above enemies, so anytime a mob would fixate them (like BH) they would just be completely oblivious to the fact. crazy

Ya, "projected textures" but that used to be off by default, and it should be on by default now since Dragonflight. Its a thing though, but still not really happening in the case of the bladestorm mechanic.

Is this similar for the spears in Neltharus? My partner gets speared every time and he's the healer. I've started shouting across the room at him when I notice the brown swirl under his hoof.

@@calamity0.o ya anything that shoots out and lands on the ground. It will only have that exaggerated swirl look of you have projected textures on. Otherwise it's just a dull circle with poorly defined limits. Make sure you have that on for sure.

@@calamity0.o I think the spears generally prioritize dps players unless one of them use an immunity beforehand, in which case a player can get 2x of them, or it will go on the tank or healer (same thing if a player would’ve been targeted but died beforehand) but I’m not 100% sure tbh

I started gearing my tank in low m+ - and Brackenhide is really a keybreaker in 10-15 range. Yesterday, our glorious pug crusade in +12 BH ended at the first boss - no one used defensive cds or health pots at the start during gash frenzy, healer wasn't able to deal with it, but the most beautiful thing - our dps monk, who died while being Marked for butchery, was complaining that "aggro was on him". That was a pretty funny ending to the disastrous key.

In the beginning of the second season I had a hunter in NL who died from facetanking add during Dargrul and tried blaming our tank. I am not sure we succeeded in convincing him that the add fixates on random player afterwards. And it was like +16, not +2. It always amuses me how some people do not even care to open dungeon journal before heading into mythic +

I must admit I had issues with those decaying surge swirlies, I actually couldn’t see any swirlies and was wondering what kept killing me, turns out it was some graphics setting I had turned down meant the swirlies didn’t appear. Which is really weird because I could see all other swirlies in raid with no issues.

This is one of the wildest keys I have seen, and honestly its wild because these guys playing this poorly should have resulted in a disband. But they kept going and that is why it ended up being so complete in its hilarity. But it makes you wonder what things would look like if every group that started a key finished that key too. Would have sooo many more funny moments. But I guess them being more common would only make it less funny.

I've done keys with friends that took 40+ deaths, but that was always an active learning process and/or severe lack of gear. Nothing wrong with that. When you blame others for your mistakes and/or don't even attempt to learn from your mistakes that is a big problem.

I think the most egregious thing here is, all this stuff is SUPER obvious. If they even looked at it for a second they would know the mistakes. You can't really miss them. So that tells me that the confidence they had in that moment far exceeded the success rate they were having, and that is what makes low keys hard. When mediocre players think they are good, you have very bad results.

This is is hilarious. Literally more entertaining than anything Netflix has produced in the last 3 years. We need... no...we DEMAND more of this. xD Perfect display of the Dunning Kruger Effect. I have absolutely no clue how these guys muster the courage to venture into dungeons they have absolutely no freaking clue about at +14. I mean seriously, watch a video, do the dungeon on +5 or something.... Reminds me of all of my VP runs while I was pugging for KSM. Always had at least 1 dps in the group who died to the lightning of the trash every single time and to the last boss aswell. One of them even said it was his first time in the dungeon (at +14 mind you). I can't even...

That's pretty common to just walk into dungeons with no knowledge. Can't really expect casual players to be doing homework. But you should expect them to be able to learn on the fly and adapt to mistakes, which these guys fail at miserably. In terms of more content, I am starting a new series on livestream today that will be searching for low keys just like this only, probably for the rest of the season. I agree, its just too funny. I'm good on pushing for the season. Now's the time to laugh! Hope I can find more.

I always check out dungeons/raid before doing them on any higher difficulty, just to not make an absolute baboon out of myself and to not majorly f* up the group. And yes I can totally understand dying to the lightnig (to stick with my example) once but you should really get it at the second or at least third time. I'll def check out your stream. Yup, make sure you have "projected textures" on. Anything that shoots out from an enemy and lands on the ground requires it to be more defined. You can still see them without it though, it just looks WAY more obvious with it on.

one thing to note is that you know the decay surge cast that goes off by the trash towards the end, if you dont have a particular graphic setting turned up, they actually dont appear for u! so although this group doesnt look like the most experienced, that part may actually be justified.. when the cast goes off it can literally just straight up be invisible and u just die to nothing, its ridiculous, ive had someone straight up question my io because i was dying to a cast i could not see

Our tank in underrot last night must have had a macro that says a random joke after wipe...yeah...another dps immediately left. The dh in my bh14 with all 20's cleared was dying like this. Every trash pull he'd do great dps for 5-10 seconds until the bladestorm dropped him. Every boss he died. He had all 20's cleared. We timed it with 28 seconds left. 29 deaths. He said he was trying his best. My 447 healer partner runs my alts through lower stuff... I might not do as much damage with my low gear but I can end a run with 0 deaths and 26 minutes left on my food buff. Sometimes it feels like I'm the only one switching targets so a priority break out or totem doesn't go down quick enough. We've also had way too many tanks pull bosses while people are dead. It's like they don't play with party frames. I swear tanks think this is a solo adventure and we are just npcs to support them. A 447 druid can't save these people. At least they don't bother attempting to blame him. Use your defensives people! Ya'll don't magically got the hp to bullrush just because your healer is geared.

Oh man, I am recording all of my keys, when I was gearing up in the 10-15 range a lot of the keys looked like this, wish I haven't deleted them :D But I remember same thing in brackenhide, all melee dying to trash before first boss, on every pack there was 6 deaths, and the dude who died the most always trashtalks everyone else, like it's the groups fault that he dies 5 times to completly avoidable mechanic or swirlie or whirlwind :D It was painful but I had fun there healing (as a healer you can see everyone's fuckups) :D Or a dude in VP, on the big pack before first boss, 2 people got the debuff, I dispel one, healing the other and third one died to the big AoE around the mob, after that he said, "yo healer WHY DONT YOU DISPEL ME" and leaves :D I swear situations like this it's too much, the people don't have a clue that you have cooldown on dispel, they don't have a clue that you can't heal insta death, they don't even have a clue what they die to :D

The real solution is simply do the research AFTER. Most of the game is obvious now-a-days, so if you don't have a lot of free time, you don't need to learn every single mechanic on every single trash. You just record the run, look back at your deaths, or the otherwise problematic areas, and learn from what's on the screen. Been preaching this for years, but obviously its a bit of extra work.

Well you are right in general, but this is even worse than that. The DK KNOWS what kills him and just thinks he can't survive it for some reason. Likely a visual issue one way or another, but if he could record the run and look back at it, he would hopefully see the mob casting the spells.

I'm happy it was finished for sure. If more keys like this would finish instead of disband we would have many more laughs, AND there would be much more learning. You'd never even see half these mistakes if they disbanded after the second boss while wiping on the left side like that.

Criticizing Shaman for asking about BL on 3rd boss seems unfair. At least he is bringing that up and remembered it this time, while it seems that Evoker doesn't even have a clue BL exists in his toolkit. But the streamer prefers to not mention it, apparently cuz Evoker is the guy who suggested the video.

Seems like you are misunderstanding what is happening there. I am very aware that there has been no bloodlust the whole dungeon, I mentioned it at the first boss. Obviously, everyone is at fault for that, including anyone who could have brought drums. That's not something I need to "mention" for people to understand the issue. The more remarkable issue is that the Shaman is ASKING about it, despite it not being used by ANYONE the whole dungeon. There is no "at least he is bringing it up." The fact that he thinks its okay to go that far into the dungeon without using the spell is a major issue. In my eyes, its less offensive to just not pay attention to anything and never use the spell than ASK about it, get no response AND STILL NOT USE THE SPELL!? How can you possibly be defending that?

this is the stereotypical group in low keys lol everyone trying to blame others saying its someone elses fault but then the "not anyone here you guys are all great, just saying in general that I am being held back by the rest of the playerbase not you guys for sure" meanwhile no one in the group has any awareness of what was really happening right in front of them lol. I some times go to low keys on my alts or just on my main because I'm bored and you get into groups like this and if you try and help or explain anything half the time you get flamed for being an elitist know it all or like your a moron that has no clue what you are talking about. It really is a different game some times.

Ya, that happens a LOT in that exact situation, that's why I stopped doing it. The people have weird defense mechanisms where if some one better than them statistically tries to tell them something they immediately get hostile. So then you are basically in there with 4 people who dislike you helping them and now are essentially soloing the run. Least fun thing in the game honestly, so I have just totally stopped doing low keys on my main. Going to try to go incogneto and find a better way to do it starting this week.
