Fun Fact: Buneary and Lopunny were the only pokemon to learn return and frustration naturally! If evolved before level 13, it would have learned return. If it remains a Buneary, it learn frustration at level 13 instead! This was supposed to encourage trainers to raise Buneary's friendship without leveling it up and thus having a stronger bond with a "weak" pokemon!

Ground hog day is and isn’t a rougelike. To qualify as a rouge-like you must have procedural generation of randomized rooms/locations. This is in order for the game to not get stale if you know everything that will happen. The movie is like a rouge-like in that the player is expected to carry information from play through to the next play through. But unlike a rouge-like bill Murray’s character goes through the same timeline every day so the day is not random nor procedural and is set and can only change by the Murray’s actions. Also movie came out in 1993, while rogue came out in 1980 so it is not out of the question that rouge could have inspired the direction of ground hog day
