Swifty here from overseas. It was a pleasure to read Taylor Swifts message, this young lady is pure class. No vitriol, no name calling ( except possibly the very minor the cat lady tag at the end, but that was totally justified and honestly quite funny).. Notice she did *not* direct how anyone else should, simply how she was going to vote for, and why. Taylor reminds everyone of the importance of making your voice heard, reminds young Americans to make a plan, register to vote ( why anyone should have to register to vote is beyond me, it should be automatic upon turning 18, as voting is supposed do be a right, but I digress). All democracies function better with an educated and engaged population, after all, we all do better when we all do better. Anyway Cheers from Aus and good luck in November.

for over 50 years no president codified Roe v. Wade into federal law. All Trump did was put it back in the hands of the states. And the states are voting accordingly to what their constituency wants. Choose to live in a state that aligns with your views. Trump has supported the woman's right to autonomy. I only learned that Roe v. Wade had never actually been codified into law when it was sent back to the states. I am a woman, mother and supporter of a woman's right to choose, but I am not going to believe for a second that that right has been taken from me because the issue of abortion is in the hands of the states.

@@Kheti1234 hello! Really? You do know what Roe v Wade stood for right? It was a federal law that allowed women the right TO CHOOSE! This meant no government could force women to carry a pregnancy to term. Now that it’s been repealed, state government has passed laws that restrict a women’s right to choose. Thus, the government has control. So basically, a majority of people with 1 belief are now able to impose their beliefs onto others. Please be more informed or educated before making your comments. Obviously you’re a man with no wife or daughter or you wouldn’t be allowing the loss of their right to choose.

the debate was what everyone expected it to be, what wasn't expected was how fast trump would lose it, and kept losing it. I didn't get what I expected from Harris, but it was enough, she still nailed it. Now the question is how much of an affect will it have on voters, that's yet to be seen, were still more than a month and a half away from the election, so, listening watching and paying attention will still matter.

I am not a Swiftie nor do I enjoy her music all that much, but even I recognize the power this woman has. Her fans are not young. There are people in the 30s age bracket who have grown up on her music and have grown along with her. She and her music has been relevant since 2007. I don't know how anyone can forget that.
