I have finally found true peace and happiness in life, and it came after I lost everything. Now I’m on my way back up, and I am moving aggressively, but at the same time have an inner calmness. You are wealthiest when you have your health and peace in your soul. Good luck everyone on your journey 🙌

There are Different levels of Money and Happiness, The first level is $60,000 give or take, Where if you make less , than more money can buy happiness. And less us stressful (going without things you want sucks) Than the next level don't come for a long ways up. As in enough to not have to work. So From $60,000 per year to $300,000 a year isn't a happiness change at least not in my opinion But getting to the next level to where you don't have to work anymore, that's life changing.

At 51 years old I realize that I would rather have money put away for experiences than have material things. I had to do some self analyzing to see what I really wanted and I couldn’t come up with nothing but good health and freedom. I NEEDED the FREEDOM to be able to work only when I feel like making money. The journey was a struggle but the results is being debt free.

Listen to this man people!! I’m in my sixties & the game hasn’t change as far as the rules! I did everything right & do to the economy & life’s curve balls, a divorce from a man that I grew up with & help put through school until it was too late for me! I never thought after 40 yrs together that everything I worked on as a team was gone & heading into retirement. What I’m saying is even in the best conditions it can blindside you! When your young you never think what you feel like this morning isn’t what your gonna feel like tomorrow! I’m physically disabled & it’s not good enough for our government that just went through a financial tailspin because of Covid. I’m starting all over again without my health, financial safety net or even any family members alive for a shoulder ! But Thank You lord & Thankyou Timothy for showing & protecting our future with an honest, no bells & whistles, sit down!!

I thought if I have a great job that pays well it will bring me happiness, peace and freedom, but what I realised was the more money I had the more money I spent so I quit my job and went from something high paid to a seasonal job that paid a lot less. I started to learn to appreciate my money by not being able to blow it on random crap that I didn't need. This is exactly the tool I needed for me, in return this made me lot more happier.

30 here. Single woman. Tired. Depressedd. Can barely work full time. Mental issues. I know what I'm in for the rest of my life. There is no trying anymore or caring. I give up. At this point, you start to live in your own world to mentally survive. My best times are when I'm reading or dreaming. Reality is no longer where I want to "live" i just tune out go on autopilot until I can play a game read a book. I tried living in my car and I realized I need a van I can't afford. So there is my life story. If anyone reads this know you are def not alone and that sometimes its good to just let go and not hold on to what is not meant for us

i'm sorry.. 30 years is not that old yet. But in my opinion the true wealth lies in seeds for food, fruits, vegetables, herbs etc. If you can plant some, somewhere, even 'guerilla gardening', then you can at least have free food. You have the car, so you have shelter, and clothes and you could even learn how to make clothes from either plants or animal skins, might you not have any money for that. Not sure if i'm helpful but if you got food, clothes and shelter then you should mostly be good.

I got out of debt (student loans, creditcard, and medical) and it's been a great decision. It was hard. But now I get paid every time a check comes in. I believe anyone can do it. Another thing schools need to teach is the back to basics, no-nonsense guide to living in the real world. Schools used to teach people how to garden, how to identify plants, what plants are good; which to avoid. The average person used to know basic car maintenance, now most people take their cars to the shop for simple repairs for double the price it should cost. Schools need to teach people how to change tires, how to fix a flat tire, how to change your engine oil; how to change brake pads and all fluids in your vehicle, how to cook; how to sew. There isn't any REAL self-sufficiency. Money is not the cure all way to be sufficient. Learing practical skills is priceless

All I want is to get caught up on my rent (currently 2 months behind) and pay off a couple traffic tickets (both for car insurance that had lapsed...DUE TO BEING BROKE!!. All this and I work 6 days a week. 1 day off a week to spend with my sons and I spend EVERY day off with them because my happiness and joy cones from them!! But the days they are not with me (Im divorced nd they live with their mom) I am in a constant state of extreme anxiety...possibility of becoming homeless is a very real possibility at this point. Both my parents are deceased and I know I have no support system. It is fuckin scary man!! And people say "just get a 2nd job"! Like Im not already working 6 days a week...every week. Its so hard to be happy when you are in a constant state of fear!! I don't care about being rich. All I want is to be able to be able to have me and my boys basic needs met (which I do pay my child support) Not gonna lie tho, I am now a couple months behind on that too. It sucks!!! I love my sons more than anything in this world. I am trying to catch up on the child support...but atm it's either pay that or prepare to live in my shitty rundown car. Sorry, I know that was a lot of info, but I needed a space to vent! Thanks

Yes. You definitely need resources. There's no way around it. This is coming from someone who was flat broke twice in her life and now has some assets. Money isn't everything, but it is a resource. It buys you time, freedom, and space from the rat race. However, you need to be disciplined in terms of resource allocation and investment. I drive an 8 year old car and live in a small apartment. my freedom is extremely important to me. If you are fortunate enough to accrue resources, don't blow it on stuff that doesn't matter.

I quickly sank into credit card debt (and I didn’t have any money in my checking account either) earlier this year (without a job) and its starts to take a toll on your well-being, especially when you hit your credit limits. At first you’re on a high because you get that instant gratification of buying literally anything you want at the swipe of your card, but it catches up quick. Once I got a job a couple months ago and I was actually able to start paying that monthly payment and extra, I felt sooo much better. Not only that, I felt much more abundant and grateful and happy that I was able to have money. Ironicaly, I’ve always been anti-money/frugal with money my whole life. I could start enjoying time with friends more and not having to penny pinch anymore. I could give money to homeless people again. I could pay for a friends meal. I can actually USE my debit card. Still paying off a hefty credit card bill, but feeling happier than ever

Hey just starting your video. There’s a reason we don’t learn about money in school is part of the plan. Imagine how many people would retire early/ move out of the country or do other things that wouldn’t make the countries GDP go up if we didn’t have to work our entire lives. The government needs us working 40+ years to profit. So if we know how to save and invest and be happy without chasing the next big thing then we don’t push the system forward. I agree on comfort. That’s what matters. And to me a big part of comfort comes from free time and control of my schedule

Do you work for the government or for some corporations? Unfortunately corporations traped the government. Corporations focus only on their profit, and the government should focus on the people's well beings. But corporatons are strong. The animal inside you (general you) chases the next big thing, you need to be stronger/smarter/more cautious than the animal inside you. It has nothing to do with the government. Actually, you need stonger government/unions showing the corporations where their place is.

I’m conflicted on retirement savings. I do save through work and have a match that amounts to me savings about 10% of my income. The math would say I should save more but I don’t plan to just stop working completely at 65. And I come from a family where my mom is still grinding at 64 and had been saving her whole life but she don’t know what to do with herself once she retires. The talk track becomes hey work hard now and you can enjoy things later. But then that becomes the habit because you get to later and you think I’m not content unless I’m working hard. Another irony. Where did that talk track come from that I should bust my behind now and enjoy things later?

I don't believe in that philosophy at all. It's called the American Dream, and I'm not asleep, so I don't believe it(famous comedian).😊 I think you should find a way to live, sustainably, in the NOW. As you get older, especially over sixty, your health starts to change. Things that you could easily in your 40/50s become a little harder. So all that money you busted your a..for has to now take care of your health. Retirement can be so elusive today. Cost of living and inflation make it pretty much impossible to do wha the previous generation was able to do. A simple, sustainable life everyday can feel like retirement when you live within or below your means. It feels really good to know your bills can be paid and if you get sick that you can at least manage to keep a roof over your head until things turn around. Lastly, learn to be satisfied and grateful for what you have. Develop tunnel vision and run your own race. Happiness is the key. Best of luck❤

I don't usually take time to comment since the majority don't read them. However, I must emphasize that this is one of my favorite streams that you've done in regards to money and saving for more freedom. Just Epic and the level of transparency is phenomenal. You are absolutely right, investing is essentially gambling and in return you'll lose more than gain overtime. Most investors refuse to discuss that reality. I'm one of those guys that prefer to invest in myself and that means saving in only high yield savings accounts and CD's for long term. It's the safest way that works for me. I have been doing this for many years and it has done wonders. I'm a big fan of having liquid cash, while allocating my funds in different institutions. That's the way i invest instead of investing in the stock market when I don't know what I'm doing. A lot of folks act like they've mastered the stock market, I'm just not one of those guys, having to keep up and constantly be reading graphs, etc. I like simple/straightforward and I'm content with that, until I discover something that "I" really want to invest in "like buying land" as oppose to following popular high risk trends. I really enjoy your videos, the more I watch, the more I relate, even when you've mentioned in one of your other streams that you haven't talked to your mom in years...stuff just happens, etc, again, so many relatable topics while seeing myself in you. Thanks for being vulnerable and always keeping it real. Respect and more blessings 👑✊🏾

@@AG-xt6eiAt the end of the day you don't know when you're gonna die and having Liquid Cash whenever is King. Please answer a few questions, Why would I invest in companies that I don't care about just for the sake of making profit while taking a big risk... gambling with my money? Forget the so call 8, 10% return and oh... But if you don't invest you won't be able to keep up with inflation bullcrap. Be HUMAN for 1 minute and not robotic... I'm talking about the RISK, when you lose all your money. How come investors don't talk about this often? What are they hiding?.

On another note, this was very refreshing, all things I been thinking about lately as a 28 yrs old. I wish finances and the importance of money was stressed more in highschool. & then they make the world revolve around money to keep it all pumping.. no morals, lost ethics, its all crazy to me. I also think services are a rip off, oyu pay someone who knows how to do something, and then because they know how it works, they can over charge, or worse make you pay just to tweak something to make you come back.. I've come to a place I need to just learn for myself rather than to rely on the next person, at least learnt o understand i wont things better so I'm not so quick to throwing my money somewhere.

In 2021 our household income was 97k but we invested 52k into Roth IRA and 401k. In 2022, our household income as 125k, invested 74k. We rented a “cheap” 1 bedroom in California $2400 a month! With the stimulus checks we spent it all on flight tickets and Louis Vuitton 😅 2 international trips to Europe for a family of 3. Louis Vuitton was a dumb purchase, never again but that should last me a lifetime unless it get stolen. My last purse lasted me 12 years and I am still using it. But it’s because of my habits, not eating out, no take outs, no fast food, no coffee shops and Starbucks, I bought Starbucks beans from Costco @ $15 a bag. I bought makeup using my Sephora gift cards from credit cards hacks, we used gift cards for gas from credit cards cash back, all of clothes were purchased using gift cards, either from credit cards companies or my work place gift cards. I didn’t use my own salary to pay for stuffs besides rent. Even electric, gas, all credit cards.

It would only be too right to make it mandatory to take financial literacy classes in high school. The powers that be knows thats too much empowerment to give people in lower socioeconomic, they may begin to thrive.

Also habits are key to success. Small little things add up, the coffee at Starbucks and any coffee shops, why pay for a nasty cup of coffee when you can make it at home for 25 cents? That $4-$7 add up fast, the gas you spend driving there in the first place. I hear that coffee isn’t gonna make u become a millionaire, but it does it adds up, the sandwich, the McDonald’s, the chick fil a, birthday cake $40-$50 when I make it myself at home it’s only $1,50 and wayyyyy healthier, organic eggs, flour, butter, milk. I mean it’s that simple ingredients why spend $40? That muffins you buy from grocery stores when it’s only $1 for 18 muffins when you bake it yourself why pay $8.

My husband had to pay 7k for his business last year. He had an accountant through the internet which they were late two years running to have the numbers for his taxes which cost him money. So now he hired a local person to do the books. He also pays in monthly for his taxes. Lot's to learn when running a business. I invested in the stock market but had some bad advise and lost money. I made money on the stuff I believed in such as NVDA love that stock.

I have finally learned the secret minimizing my name to meet my income. Ironically, my rent went up and right as I decided to stop drinking and the increase was compensated by the money I saved from buying alcohol. I don’t have a car so I live in an area that I can walk to most places. Even though the rent is higher, this is compensated by the fact that I don’t have to pay car note, gas, and upkeep. years ago, I stopped all the facials, pedicures manicures and eyebrow threading and I feel just fine. I take care of my own nails and seek and save so much money. I think too many people focus on the wrong things. Thanks for your insightful KZbin channel. Sometimes it helps to have like-minded individuals to listen to.

I'm on disability, so I don't get a lot of money back. But I still manage to donate some of it whenever I can. I donated to the city last month because I feel I was given the opportunity to live life at my own pace. So it was only fair that I give some of it back.

It can be expensive as an individual. Sacrificing for other people can be expensive and depleting. It's difficult for families to manage resources and the expenses can deplete them. It is important to utilize budgeting, networking, being involved in education and employment that helps with finances. With proper management of finances can come stability.
