Ma'am, I know this fantasy world Miss Kita Pickle Puffers live in. The one where everyone uses their garbage tools every day. It's so cute. Let me guess, just like every other Faux-fessional, you've been doing it for 25 years or more? It's so funny how the lies are always the same. Imagine what would happen if your Roblox construction was in the real world. In the real world, Miss Kita just posted their earnings report for North America and had a very troubling year. Let's see, they showed a nearly 50% loss in sales from an already down year in 2022. The third consecutive year of double-digit losses. They also reported losing 3/4 of a billion dollars. Oh, and they closed half of their manufacturing facilities, fired half of their employees, their CEO was replaced, and the new CEO stated they needed a complete rebrand just to stay relevant in North America. Now, if that wasn't enough, Ma'am all you would have to do is take your delicate little fingers and scroll through the comments to see the vast majority of people with Construction or some field related screen name agreeing. While I am retired and not in the field anymore, I know more than you. I've been put there, traveled the world, and know enough to say that if you're in America, you're likely in the Pacific Northwest or in New England somewhere. The rest of the country doesn't use your Makita garbage.

@@ToolswithSoAlzMate, I'm in Australia. I work around a bit, but because I work around a bit I've seen a lot of job sites and a lot of trades. It is VERY rare to see anyone using a platform other than Makita. I know of one guy who went with Ryobi and he gets laughed at whenever he goes to a job. It's not even like beers, where there's two main beers here and you just wait for the other bloke to order which one so you know if you're going to be friends with them or not. Makita is it, for at least a 100 mile radius. Last year I did some work for a gate company, three trucks, all Makita power tools, one drill had been replaced just before I got there because the guy I replaced did something stupid to it. Each truck had an impact driver, at least one or two drills, a blower, a hammer drill and a grinder. Every single one of those tools was used every day. The trucks run 6 6amp batteries with a charging station. We would run through every single fully charged battery including recharged ones by the end of the working day. One tool replaced in five years, due to negligence not wear. And those guys were absolutely reckless with their tools. They thought the smoke coming out of the wooden post was normal while drilling a hole with an Auger bit, and bitched and complained when I put the drill setting on 1, lubed up the bit and let it slowly run through. While I had to sit there and watch them take twice as long and swear twice as much while they changed the temper on their own bits.😂 Makita still do the job just fine. Anything that survives the Australian environment has to be good. Just ask Toyota.😂

Ok now you have pissed me off ! 1) Makita 6 1/2 inch left blade LXT circular saw is one of the best saws ever made. Power, accuracy, and ergonomics are unequalled. 2) Makita LXT or XGT power planers are better than DeWalt or Milwaukee hands down. 3) Makitas XGT 7 1/4 inch rear handle circular saw is awesome. Maybe not as powerful as the DeWalt, but close. The fit, finish, ergonomics, and battery quality are better than DeWalt. I also own the Flex (due to your recommendation) and admit it is awesome as well. Flex is the only left blade saw with great dust removal. 4) Makitas heavy duty 18v hammer drill is on par with the DeWalts 20v. I own both. 5) Makitas 18v multi tool is remarkably smooth and powerful compared to the DeWalt or Bosch. 6) Makitas battery technology has always been near the top. I have Makita, Milwaukee, DeWalt, Bosch, and Flex tools. Guess who has provided the most failed batteries. That would be DeWalt followed by Milwaukee with DeWalt being much worse. I will no longer buy DeWalt tools because of failed batteries. I will continue to buy Flex, Makita, Bosch and Milwaukee due to their better design and engineering. Each brand makes a killer tool. Makita has recently concentrated on the landscaping business with some success. Mowers, weed eaters, blowers, chainsaws, hedge trimmers and earth augers have been first class. Try the Makita 40V XGT line. I have never regretted buying a Makita tool.

makita 40v lines are mostly gimmicks for me as their 18v peforms well, built to last and powerful enough that performed just 5% or at most 10% than xgt but the price ridiculously expensive and overrated. Unfortunately they don't produce battery more than 6Ah so i had to make one. I like their lxt 18v vacuum tho, powerful and efficient.
@wayneprice6918
@wayneprice6918 2 ай бұрын
The 40v Makita XGT line solves the problem of overheating batteries . Compared to the 18v LXT tools, hard and continuous use can cause the 18v batteries to get hot . I have the rear handle left blade circular saws in LXT and XGT. using both under extreme load (ripping HIckory), the XGT is much cooler. Same with the electric chain saws. The LXT line is great for most folks and I agree much cheaper. If you run your tools hard and batteries are getting hot, you may want to look at the XGT line. Large recip saws, circular saws used in production, or grinders may be a good candidate for the XGT line. The higher the voltage the less amps and less heat is produced. I continue to use the LXT line for a number of tools. The power plane, upper end 6 1/2 left blade circular saw, and the multi-tool are awesome. If I have a number of heavy rip cuts to perform I go to the XGT. I also like the FLEX 24v platform. I stick with the (stacked lithium) batteries. Whatever brand you choose, try to stay away from their lower end. When I buy Milwaukee, I always pick their top end FUEL line.

New Milwakee 3" cut off tool I paid a $100 for on sale without a battery was gutless. Returning it and getting a Hercules with a battery for 80 something with a 5 year warranty. Electrician, tools being used 6 days a week for many years. Had Milwaukee, Dewalt even have some Hilti. Nothing comes close to Makita in terms of reliability and precision. Milwaukee has more power but burns out in less than 6 months in the hands of real tradesmen. Dewalt uses so cheap plastics they break first time they are dropped. And Hilti is just great but double/triple Makita price. Need improvements on the batteries, yes. I just get some 9ah's for the big 9 inch disc and run them in the battery backpack. I dropped some of these tools from incredible hights (drill from 4-story building onto concrete, hammerdrill from tall ladder many times) and these tools still work 3 years after their biggest drops, whilst being used every single day. Even the batteries are not terrible, lost mant Hiltit batteries due to freezing temperatures in the van for many weeks on end in winter. Makita batteries just keep on going for me (first gen 5 ah, 3ah's are shit)

I have 1 makita 18v tool i standby but thats it. 5 7/8" metal cutting circular saw with 2 1/4" depth of cut. Its not a popular tool amongst ppl but it should. Its a super under rated tool in itself. Beats full size bandsaws in speed of cut no problem and clean as hell like it came off off a mill. The makita had a chip collector which is important cuz it throws em and they hurt. Milwaukee no collector, dewalt no collector and only cuts 1 5/8" deep. Theres a few other brands that make the saw itself but not many. And the makita beats dewalt and Milwaukee in speed of cut. Ive used them all. Its a highly used and must have tool for what i do

Just about every 18V Milwaukee fuel tool I have has been sent back because of a trigger issue. Also the collet on both of my 18V fuel impacts have had to be repaired. The m12 fuel stuff has been solid (especially my m12 surge). I’ve never had a single issue with any of my makita tools. I have the green set you are showing in this video. A white brushed set from about 10 years ago and the black sub compact set. I use the 7&1/4” year handle circ saw and the regular 7&1/4” circ saws. The only makita tool I can’t stand is their attempt at the Milwaukee hacksaw. That thing won’t cut 3” pvc. Other than that I’ve pretty much switched to all makita at work. I don’t care if the tech is a little outdated. Every time I pull a trigger on a makita tool it works. I can’t say that for Milwaukee. What about longevity and actually offering the possibility of keeping a product because it can be repaired, in America makita is lacking but internationally and in Japan it has some incredible technology and I’ve never ever even slightly had a problem with a battery over the last 5 years of owning my first makita product. I’ve dropped an impact 3 or 4 stories off a lift and had it keep working for another 2 years and when it finally quit I bought a 15 dollar replacement part and it was working again

Makita dominated and invented the Li Ion cordless category and fact is hate on all you want , teal has the largest quality line up. Silly Brain is only fixated on shaving miniscule times not knowing beyond his garage the rest of this planets on makita platform. Explain how else a company could charge the highest coin and not worry about all these chinese owned company's lower prices. Still same Japanese manufacturer you get what you pay for. Fact is makita will be here atleast for this lifetime
@ToolswithSoAlz
@ToolswithSoAlz 7 ай бұрын
So, let me get this straight, you know so little about what's going on in the tool world and out in the field that your best argument is that they invented Lithium Ion tools? They invented it so well that they have to pay royalties to TTI, the owners of Milwaukee tools. Maybe know what the facts are before commenting next time? I suppose you can't also explain how they went from having a $3 Billion market share in 2020 to losing 3/4 of a Billion in 2023 in North America. How about them closing two manufacturing facilities, firing half of their employees, and getting rid of the North American CEO all within the last nine months? What about the new CEO saying they need a complete rebrand if they're to remain relevant? Yeah, the facts are that you know absolutely nothing about tools but the name on the side.
@krisadathamavit4440

No substance, your research yields nothing but repeat what I said. Get this straight. The japanese company Makita is not owned/bought out by any other manufacturer, unlike the rest. Fact they been tried and true for a very long time, and not lower the prices(actually increase)or standards unlike the rest(chinese based towards lower quality). Fact is where ever it's sold its still expensive (not a move if a company's going under)proves that your nonsense and silly predictions are useless...at best a wild guess.

Awe, it looks like I hurt Polly Prissy Pants' little feelings by telling her the truth. Notice how little girl can't refute anything I said, and all she has is some ignorant nonsense about Miss Kita being owned by herself. It's so cute when little girls don't know what they're talking about but feel the need to tell everyone. Ok Honey, I'll help you out here because you're a mouth breathing, inbred, trailerpark living, child attracted, kindergarten dropout, from a family tree that mostly resembles a family circle. Stanley Black and Decker is not Chinese, is not owned by China, has fewer tools made in China than Miss Kita, and had more sales and higher value than Miss Kita. Stanley Black and Decker is an American company. The Robert Bosch corporation is also not a Chinese company and is also much, much bigger than Miss Kita. 70% of what Miss Kita makes is made in China! Fact, Miss Kita has lost market share every single year since 2016. Fact, Miss Kita does not currently produce the best anything on the market. That's not opinion. That is fact! The only thing you know about tools is the name on the side, and you've never made a dime using one. Makita is trash! Now dry your crying eyes, and don't forget to put the sticky side down next month, Princess. Oh and Bosch and Stanley Black and Decker are older than Miss Kita.

Apparently, reading and telling the truth are too hard for you. Let's start with the most obvious lie, "I am a Milwaukee guy and have been for over 30 years." Now that work of fiction is amazing considering 30 years ago Milwaukee offered little more than a reciprocating saw. Not to mention that 30 years ago, their professional grade hammer drill couldn't even beat a Black and Decker. But then you went ahead and said you were a plumber. Wow! Now we hit the big time in lies. 30 years ago, you would have been using Ridgid for nearly all of your plumbing tools and Dewalt corded for your power tools. My bet, if you were actually a plumber, is that you only adopted Milwaukee after 2012; at the earliest. Don't lie here, son. As for this claim about Miss Kita. Plumbers typically work alone or with a helper on resi and in a team or rarely more than 6_8 in industrial. In both settings, they would use the same brand. Tell me again about these fantasies you've been having.

Try the Makita XGT tools. You will have power and performance. Buy them when you can get a free battery and you get a great value. They will outlast your Milwaukee and DeWalt. I have Makita tools that are still running after 40 years. I have had makita batteries last over 15 years. Reliability has value. Thousands of craftsmen have been well served by Makita for a long time. They still make excellent tools. Show a little respect. In the last year, I bought 2 circular saws, a hammer drill, a power planer, an earth auger for post holes, a mower, two commercial blowers, a weed eater (better than my dewalt), and a chain saw. All of them have performed extremely well. You have a great channel. I learn things every week. I hope this helps you hate on Makita a little less.

@@ohioknifelover try to buy the higher quality tool no matter which brand you pick. They will serve you better and last longer. I bought a number of Milwaukee 12v tools and a few Milwaukee 12v Fuel tools about 8 years ago. The higher quality Fuel tools were better and lasted longer. Half of the lower quality Milwaukee failed in less than 18 months. The Makita XGT is Makita's premium line. Some of Makitas LXT products are very good also. The 6 1/2 left handed trim saw (not the low end) and the rear handled left bladed 7 1/4 saws LXT or XGT are excellent. I use a Milwaukee 12v fuel for a hammer/drill driver and a large dewalt for hole saws or concrete. I have a nice large Makita hammer drill but I don't use it as much as the other drills.
