it’s time to make a change. In my continued pursuit of producing youtube content i have allowed myself to reach great heights of mental and physical weakness. But that changes today. im sure many of you don’t care about any of this crap but for those that do! Lets do this together. quit smoking, quit drinking, develop a regular sleep schedule, start a diet (im gonna be food maxing) and start exercising daily. lets set the first goal post at 1 month and reevaluate come november. i’m at my lowest point physically in my adult life, so if you dont feel good lets start putting in the work together to get better. Dont put off today what you could just as easily put off tomorrow!! SEE YOU GUYS TONIGHT at 6:30pm EST for the FIRST LIVESTREAM OF THE MONTH!!

I care! I just started my fitness journey a few months ago. I've been underweight by about 15-20 lbs for a 5'11" male my whole life. Now as a 30something, I've added 10lbs, I'm eating 2800+ calories of whole good foods. I have celiacs and was diagnosed late in life. Two decades of eating incorrectly for my body plus seed oils and ultra processed mind numbing garbage foods has made this a rough uphill battle involving no one other than myself. Even on my bad days I won't give up because I know out there others have not given up on their journeys. Thank you for jumping back in, Brandon. It'll be nice knowing you're one of those people out there on their journey as well. ❤ Keep up the motivation my friend, we all care. Also, Brandon, start consuming shakes consisting of about 3-6 raw eggs with about a cup of milk, some raw unfiltered honey, your whey of choice, unflavored pure iso preferably, and for added fun, you can use Fairlife chocolate milk. 👌🏻

Yo Brandon, a guy with your build who hasn't lifted for 12+ months being able to even bench 135 really is not as bad as you would think. A lot of people have to really build up to even 135, so kudos to you. Just stay consistent, man. Even when you don't wanna go, you just have to make yourself go and at least put in a little work to get yourself in the habit of going again. I've been training for years and the hardest part was getting into the habit of going initially. Just keep it up. You'll thank yourself later,

I felt just like you did just over 2 years ago. After 17 years of smoking I finally gave it up and went to the gym same day, never looked back. Anxiety gone, unnatural broken sleep gone, foggy brain gone. The gym was something practical that not only physically kept me busy but was something to mentally focus on also. What really helped give me the strength and desire to change was Jesus Christ, all credit goes to him. I hope everyone struggling with addiction can break free from that and I pray that all will call on the name of the lord who can transform us from the inside and give us new life 🙏🏻❤️ Hang in there Brandon and anyone else reading this 💪🏻

very inspiring Brandon. Thank you for presenting this reminder that the swamp never drains. I am reasonably younger than you and have recently undergone a traumatic event that has been a part of a cycle of trauma that I have experienced from a young age. I've been feeling extremely lost over the past week and can relate heavily with your issues, your transparency on these problems as someone who could generally be viewed as a successful adult is helping me realize that were all born and spit out into this world with potential that we must act upon. We are all scared primal animals with a conscious brain and we get so caught up in our fear for tomorrow that we dont challenge ourselves to build a future that we want to inhabit. Be kind to yourself but never stop pushing for the things that you love. Appreciate every moment that the present sends your way, you never know what it will send you next.

Advice from random internet person: Keep your spine open and flexible. This is instrumental to good health and instrumental to a good mood. The spine is the most important part of your body. If you have any tension, particularly in your lower back, it will affect your clarity of thought, your energy levels, your sleep, your mood, your propensity towards indulging in the sad passions. That means keep good form and stay away from things like dead lifts if your particular muscles are not strong enough to keep good form. You need to be engaging your glutes and your lower core. Also, medium cardio is amazing for good mood, so hiking, long walks, bike riding, whatever. There is a huge difference in clarity of thought between days I do cardio and days I don't. The more you stay still, the worse it gets.

proud of you for taking the first step bro. i've been lifting consistently for about 3 months (inconsistently before and did lots of research during that time) and i've already noticed results. it's important that you dial in your diet and sleep. DO NOT forget to sleep 8 hours a day and you DO need to eat as much protein as you can, force feed if you have to. if you have to drink your calories and protein in the way of protein shakes, do so. but whole food is the major key i've heard. also as a rule of thumb you probably need about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight, so 170+ grams of protein will be a good starting point, and don't forget to consume said protein (or as much as you can) within 30 minuets of a workout. it's called your anabolic window and you don't want to miss it. obviously i stand on the shoulders of giants telling you all this. but i'm really happy to see you jump on board the fitness train. never give up, get fit or die!

It’s so inspiring to see you getting back to the gym. I am on a similar journey of smoking too much weed and feeling sorry for myself --> exercising daily and getting 💪 Keep it up Brandon!

Hell yeah, Brandon! Self care is important. I've been feeling the same way as you. Constant anxiety, drinking and smoking too much to self medicate, eating like shit, not working out etc. Doesn't help that I fractured my C2 vertebrae last year from a slip & fall in Target (got a 10k settlement out of it but would rather not be in pain). Trying to get in shape so I can look good when I get married next year. Your video is inspiring me to better myself and I appreciate that. Good luck to you, homie!

Hello Brandon I am Zero. I have been through the same shit as you I been too a psychward and also got really weak mentally and physically. I will definetley tune in too these live streams. I want too tell you too not take supplements because they do not work and that it is better too start delving into natural living and self development. I would reccomend starting a cooked carnivore and fruit diet. That consists of Meat, Eggs, Cheese, Butter, Honey, Fruit, Potatoes, Rice, Raw Milk, Celery Juice, and Fruit Juice. You will gain more weight and mucle and feel amazing. Also I reccomend you get into dynamic stretching, calisthenics, weight lifting and martial arts also after wards make sure too static stretch.

Realest dude on KZbin. Much love from Australia mate. And I hope you're staying on course with your sobriety mate, it's the best thing you can do for your mental health. Edit: Hatebreed's album "Preserverance" will double all your lifts btw.

i dont know you but I love you. I'm hard in the paints (drugs, downers) right now, and something has to be done to make this get better....and you can most certainly bulk up , straighten up, achieve what you want, That's not fair of me to assume anyone can do anything, but your a special cold arse rider. and dang are we doing sober October so soon?

@@thebuckinghamshow oh buddy, you're the man. I love to grow it. but ill be the first to admit it, cannabis makes my depression start flying high...I will really quit alcohol today!! your response is much appreciated. but ladies and gents lets quit booze, then THC, we're coming for dAT arse, I recommend a slow taper for some riders who Have been doing this for far too long. i know you know this but xans/benzos and opiates are straight death to the soul, the rest slowly goes down. Keep up the good fight and education for a lot of kids who need it man. 1000% back you up.

This is inspiring, thanks Brandon. Now I have the confidence to take the chef's pants that I wear to work, and wear them at the gym. You're right. Good call, nobody knows those are for line cooks, other than fellow line cooks. And those are exactly the friends I wanna make! You can tell by the hot-crossed bun scars on their forearms.
