Selling my 2014 double cab Tacoma to Carvana finally. This is my car vehicle ever and here are the reasons why I’m selling it even though I don’t need the cash.

Don’t switch cars. Just get a smaller one for daily stuff. Trust me you’ll regret it. That truck is a beauty

Got it. We have the civic as daily driver. Do you also have a daily driver and a truck? How often do you drive the truck

Keep it as an extra in case your civic is ever down and you need to get somewhere.

Hello, transit fan, walkable city proponent, absolute hater of big vehicles (vanity trucks, SUVs), and last but certainly not least, PEDESTRIAN here. Curious what having an SUV would do if you already don’t use 2 cars? Why not just rent one when you need something bigger than the Civic? You’re still gonna run into all the idle vehicle problems you have w the truck w an SUV. Also fun fact, taller bigger vehicles are less safe because their blind spots are way larger, you’re less likely to see small children in front of your vehicle, and god forbid if you hit someone, you’re more likely to kill them bcs you’re hitting them higher up in the body (vulnerable head/chest area) as opposed to the torso/leg area if they’re hit w a smaller car. Torso/leg, less likely to die. Chest/head = way more traumatic injuries. ADDITIONALLY America has an obsession with large vehicles for no reason other than flexing their dick size so stick w Litzy’s car and rent a larger when you absolutely need it 🥰 (also PSA minivans hold much more cargo than do trucks or SUVs!)

If it runs well without issues then keep it. I don’t buy a new vehicle unless it start giving me issues and start costing me too much to fix. I didn’t know how much I needed a truck until I got rid of mines for a car. Now I’m about to give my son my car because he’s turning 16 and I’m going back to a truck. Is your truck v6? For your info that’s going to be the last generation for v6 Tacoma. I know lots of people looking for a v6 Tacoma.

Omg you think so? Should I just register it as non operating vehicle? I’m so tired of paying registration and insurance for a truck I dont drive :(

Got it, Carvana is offering 24k so unless private seller can buy it at like 28 or 30k I feel like it’s easier to sell it to carvana

I sold my 2014 Tacoma double cab with 150k miles on it back in 2020 and got 18k for it. 😢 I still miss her lol

Wow very low miles for the year. But I think a truck is always handy when you buy furniture, plants and other things that you can't fit in an suv or car. You will regret it if its already payed off .where are you located ill buy it. What car are you buying next? Tesla lol
