A fair few of the generic idents were not used. Channel, TSW, Granada, TVS, Anglia, and Uster never used them.

The logo at 1:49 says Thames XXI but the generic ITV ident says thames television

It then changed a year later to Thames Television in the bottom blue triangle, for their last year as a franchisee. This marked the end of quality at ITV, as Carlton who won the London weekday franchise was not an original producer of programmes like Thames was. TVS, TSW, also lost their franchise along with Tv-am, on at breakfast time. Carlton and Granada then mopped up all the English and Welsh channels to form the generic ITV we have now. A pastiche of what it was.
