Why doesn't Jack Della Maddalena get the respect he deserves?

Because once he started facing the tougher guys in the division he stopped having flawless performances. Which is totally fine and he’ll develop and learn. Casual fans think anything outside of a perfect performance qualifies as “overrated”.

Hes very technical and safe, which is smart but hes not a kill or be killed guy. Hes the type of fighter that will do what he needs to to win and coast to a decision if he has to. Hes like the striking version of belal. Even with the knee against burns hes still not getting that appeal of a killer finisher.

I don’t see how ppl have burns winning both round especially “ easily” he outstruck burns in the firsts and landed the more damaging blows which is all that matters bc damage trumps all so the takedowns and getting someone’s back doesn’t mean anything if u can’t do anything with it even against hafez and holland he clearly won both 29-28 imo n it shouldn’t have been a split for either

Jack Della had a clean break in his forearm in the first 2 minutes of the fight. Now what do you say about how many times he was taken down? Imagine what he would have done to Gilbert had he not had that broken arm?

That makes no sense, the damage was caused by the fight, meaning Burns caused it. That shouldn’t be a “What if” at all, if your rib is cracked with kick and you can’t breathe, you would never say “what if his rib wasn’t broken he would have won”. All credit to him he knocked out a very tough Gilbert Burns, he doesn’t need excuses for his performance, HE WON!! Burns broke his arm and lost vs Belal, you don’t see him using it as an excuse. Yeah we saw what happened when Chito couldn't hit Sean with a good technique, but that's just "if the guy didn't get hit with any damaging shots he would have performed better", that's obvious.

@@horseaphoenix1016just bc it was caused in the fight doesn’t mean that it doesn’t make any sense to disregard what happened bc it is a valid excuse like u gave the example with burns it it wasn’t even anything belal did it was just burns shooting a bad takedown n landing on his shoulder because things like this are freak accident like Sean vs chito we saw what would have happened if he didn’t get that nerve kick

@@box576 Yeah but arguing "what would have happened if the guy didn't hit you with things" doesn't matter in a fight. What if Burns didn't eat that knee? What if Burns choked him out after he took his back? None of those question should matter if it happened during a fight using a legal move. If I threw a kick and you broke your wrist blocking it, was it luck or did I just snap your wrist with my kick?

@@horseaphoenix1016 I’m not saying that it doesn’t count as a loss bc it does but that’s only on the record what about when Tom tore his leg when he fought blaydes or again when Sean fought chito n get hit on the nerve do those wins REALLY count? No they don’t if u ask any mma or fight fan that isn’t a dick rider for the fighter that won or that just hates the fighter that got injured they will say it’s not a actual loss n the fact u say it does means u fall into one of the 2 categories I mentioned

@@box576 They do really count though? I have no horse in the race but if your opponent throw a shot that injured you and end the fight, how does that not really count? That’s effectively a technical knockout, not only headshots count for damage you know? Alex Pereira surgically attacks your calf with kicks, Poirier did the same with Conor, if a person hits you and the damage incapacitated you enough to stop the fight, it’s a TKO. I like Sean way more than Marlon Vera, so save the assumptions. It’s just that your logic makes no sense, it doesn’t need to be a strike to the dome to count as a finish.

I wonder why the Country of Israel never seems to have men who can make it too the UFC.. I wonder why? 🤔 I remember seeing Khabib take on the Israel wrestling phenom Noam Dar. needless to say it didn't last long.. Khabib strangled hin unconscious in under a minute. There definitely seemed to be some hostility there.. when the poor Israeli guy regained consciousness he said he was Mossad/Shin Bet and we were all in big trouble. Everyone laughed. He never returned to AKA after that..
