Hey jack! Thanks for checking out Band Maid, i knew you would appreciate their musicianship and yes even Miku (Rhythm gt) got a nice little solo of her own. They have a couple songs that serve as a break for the vocalist, this being one of them. I think Kanami's (Lead gt) biggest influence is Carlos Santana, but her tapping is so good i think she's an EVH fan too! you're right they are a Hard Rock band according to them, they've always had metal influences in their songs especially in this new album, it is heavier than usual. As for saying it's punk-ish style of riffs I was just making an observation through my opinion and through music I've listened to over the course of my life. I like to listen for different elements of music to see if I can spot a fraction of what might have inspired them to become musicians or what musicians have had an impact on their play styles etc etc. I mean no disrespect to anyone, it's just me talking my mind. Watch the live versions, very entertaining. Their second album Queen of the murder scene may be a good place for you to start. Live at the whiskey a go go , is a great concert. Find them brother. Hi Jack. Greetings from the Netherlands. Nice reaction. I was wondering, have you ever listened to Nightwish? They are a Finnish symphonic metal band with a Dutch singer (Floor Jansen). She has one of the best, if not THE BEST, female voices in metal today. She can sing with an operatic approach, pop, rock and even grunting. Their live performances are epic. The dive into this rabbit hole ususally starts with Ghost Love Score, Live at Wacken 2013 (kzbin.info/www/bejne/amjIkGxsZrSEjac) But be warned… a reaction will probably trigger the Nightwish army to come knocking...😊

Scandal new song "Eternal" come out on March 3, 2021 (the music video should be fine and should not be blocked) Here is a list of Scandal songs. I’m sorry so many great songs, but they been around for almost 15 years. My suggestion is to do the song "Scandal baby" first. Then try the other songs. (note, try to do live performances for their older songs, because sometimes Sony block the older Music Videos. Good news is that Sony don't block the live concert as much.
