If I'm from media, I would've brought my Forester and compare it with this J7. Forester would not struggle as much as this J7. But I'm not saying that this J7 is no good. Not many car brand would do a demo in off-road. Only Subaru and this J7 I think. Keep aside the pure 4x4 la.

This Jaecoo 7 will be an eye-catcher for those looking for a unique and premium looking car with a more affordable price tag. When seen from different angles, this SUV reminds me of the Range Rover Evoque. These kinds of tests must be a strong factor in why many bought the Mitsubishi Xpander, hopefully it goes well for Jaecoo 7. Personally though, I'm waiting for Tank 300 by GWM, Jimny style SUV is my preferred choice :)

Just test drive in another Dealer also AWD 2nd time with 3 adult also same issues.. I recommended anyone who have decided on this selection go really test out with flooring the pedal and pay attention to the aircond temperature.

They are built with different levels of trim. The Jaecoo brand is the premium side of Chery, like Lexus is to Toyota

Bad? It cannot do 0-100 in 4.5 seconds, does not look like a sports car, is not a two seater with a retractsble roof, does not have a 3.0 twin turbo, does not have a fridge or a TV - where should I stop or start? A cup partially filled can be seen a half full or half empty .

Jaecoo 7 looks more like the four-wheel drive version of Volkswagen Tiguan. Strictly speaking, it is not an OFF-Road model. It is just a four-wheel drive SUV. If you encounter special road conditions with slope, you don't know what will happen?🤣🤣🤣

It does have a awd system that is quite capable, so as I said in the video it is okay for light duty. If you want a serious off roader go buy a pickup truck.

I've been reading articles and opinions of the flood of cheap Chinese EV brands. One the concerns is turn around time for parts and replacements being so long. Besides that the quality, performance and safety is not as claimed. Take for example the Xioami electric car. User reviews are bad. I am not saying this of all China EVs...but its seems that anyone in China can come up with a car brand in a instant. All having eye candy look but subpar.

@@YSKhongDrivinghmm still waiting for long term reviews first before jumping into the Chinese Car market, so far as per the case for proton it seems like the cars are okay but at the same time we hear alot of bad reviews from outside Malaysia so I guess we have to wait awhile longer for long term reviews from our Malaysian drivers when it comes to servicing/spare parts/wear & tear. Then again German car brands nowadays aren't exactly reliable too, Mercedes cars have alot of problems ranging from cheaply build quality to engine problems heck even the windscreen is fragile (personal experience of changing the windscreen three times in a span of a year due to cracks).

i have tested the subaru Xv and the CVT is behaving much better than the one in CRV. Having said that, cvt is still a cvt.
