Good luck with your project.. heart-breaking to see a car as good-looking as this and with so much potential - and then to be reminded that it never raced.

Are u sure it was that drivable ?

They said they were afraid it might have lost to the GT40

But despite the fact that it never raced it still is aerodynamically impressive and so curvy

Malcolm Sayers masterpiece deserved to be put in production. But alas, as Solomon said, "Money answereth all things."

The Fiat X1/9 of the early seventies, was the first monocoque production car featuring a structural b-pillar that doubled as a rollover bar and "flying buttress". This feature was a key element of the 1968 prototype Autobianchi A112 it was based on, and has been a feature of mid engine cars since. I'm not sure if the b-pillar on the Jaguar contains a roll bar or not, but it's below the top of the driver's head, something can't be right.

Does it just look like the seating position is quite awkward or is it an optical illusion?

Is it just me or does the '13 sound sick? I'm sure it didn't sound that lumpy the last time I saw a video of it...
