My ex was really bad into meth, he’d stay up for a WEEK and start seeing and hearing stuff that wasn’t there. He wouldn’t eat or drink either so the hospital told me it was his body shutting down and it scared me to see, I never tried it bc I was always so scared that I’d kill myself if I did it. I was into downers, he was into uppers. Glad to be 5 years clean now. He’s sadly still using, that drug steals their lives. I left him in 2016 and he STILL hasn’t gotten help, his family reaches out to this day begging me to “help him” but I can’t help someone who doesn’t want it

It's good that you didn't like meth OP. I'm curious why you tried it tho? Ever since I was a kid, mid 30s now, there have been examples floating around of faces "before and after" meth... _But_ my mom did get health magazines and let me watch Vh1; so from a young age I saw what meth/heroin/crack & cocaine have done to people "lol" 😬 ..... About 9 years ago an acquaintance showed up with and offered some cocaine.. I was too scared to actually try it and just rubbed a little on my gums... I felt like I had a couple caffeine pills. // My partner who used to partake in college explained to me take that feeling and multiply x10 _"and that's what it's like snorting a proper amount 🤷‍♀️"_ NOPE. Instead of peaking my curiosity, I solidly decided it's not for me..

We don't know anything like a "detention center" here in Germany. Every time I watch a Jail TV video, I'm amazed at the little things you can get arrested for in America. Shoplifting, for example. In Germany you take your personal details on site and then the matter is settled. A court then sends the penalty order. This is because we have a reporting law here. Deposit is only required in special cases. We don't know anything like that when it comes to minor offenses. We may not have the best legal system here in Germany, but it is still far better than in the USA. And we have pre-trial detention. For serious offenses, the judge issues an arrest warrant and the suspect goes to prison. All in all, we have more freedom here than in the land of the free.

That's not what a "binge" is. A binge is using something (or a combination of things) very heavily over x period of time. It has nothing to do with "doing anything, including to your family to get drugs". I hate when people say stuff like that, it makes it sound like ALL addicts are like that. I've been an addict for 14 years and have never threatened, physically hurt, or stole* from anyone, ESPECIALLY family. So sorry to hear you are addicted. I hope you will seek the help you need to save yourself. Alcohol & drugs is just slow suicide. These substances harm your body & will kill you in the end.

I am very curious being a health professional myself. What education does the nurses actually have working in the filmed facilities?? Because I am dumbfound in seeing how the "patients" are approached. And considering the risks of potentioal asphyxiation, head trauma etc and how it is handeled, its completely agains any nursing or medical tutorials in many parts of the world...Do the nurses actually have a minimum 3 year academic (bachelor) degree and relevant training in icu etc before getting hired to work in the jails?? Are tey licensed?

They can’t show or even film medical assessments/treatments that happen at the jail because of HIPPA

STNAs. I know I don't have X-ray vision to clear head / c spine trauma. ( Vegas PD used to send everyone on a thorazine vacation for 48 hours before even starting book-in... ooops, did I just divulge old dept. policy?..)

I've read multiple articles that say the NHS in Britain is going broke and rationing care--even canceling a lot of surgeries--and care can be delayed by years because there aren't enough doctors, nurses and hospital beds.

The very ordinary blond employee is so manipulative with her interactions. Very clever for her to find work with vulnerable people. Freigning compassion and kindness. I suspect that people would see through the veil pretty quickly in most normal situations.

I was a little wayward as a teenager, but for me all it took was deciding to get married, and have a baby settled me down immediately! I was 16, and all I wanted was to be a wife, and a mom. My mom always made it look so good. 😁

I like your takes and stories. More of these would be great. On the fat issue. Two wrongs don’t make a right. The wife is wrong for calling him fat but he just as wrong for saying what he did. Do you want to be right or happy? There are better ways to go about it.
