She is a decent actress, especially with the right director ( _Hustlers_ ' Lorene Scafaria, _Out of Sight_ 's Steven Soderbergh, _Shall We Dance_ 's Peter Chelsom), she has a husband that has won two Oscars (one for writing Good Will Hunting, and one for directing Argo). If she really wanted to spend 30 million of her own money to make a movie, why not enlist her husband to write and/or direct a film about some cool fictional or adapted story instead of wasting that money and effort on a glorified commercial for an album that we all know would flop anyway? I like JLo, but she is an actress first and foremost, and her music career has always been an afterthought.
