I think Jake ran to the hospital when this story started blowing up as a way to try and gain sympathy from people. He says during this stream something like, "I need to talk to my surgeon" implying they haven't spoken and confirmed the surgery. Then he put out another video a day or two after this where he is back home and fine, which is possible but would be a really fast recovery time for a knee surgery. When you look at all the evidence in totality imo the most logical conclusion is he essentially just went to the emergency room to do a livestream and elicit sympathy from people. It was less him being "actively in the hospital" and more like, "using the hospital as a stream backdrop to manipulate emotions." Note I'm not saying the dude doesn't have health problems, he obviously does. But he needs to quit this pathetic shit where he curls up and cries every time he has to deal with the consequences of his own actions.

I’m fully convinced that this guy is pocketing the money. This hospital stream has more than cemented that idea in my head for the most part. The amount of times that he talks about his views being terrible and him having no money but so many medical expenses. The fact that he doesn’t want to post any testimonials on his website of the people he’s helped despite “having them.” The fact that he has a treasurer despite the fact that the entire charity just distributes 500 dollars to a random person once a month. Not to mention that he does everything through the Google charity function which makes it so nobody takes a cut and he gets the full amount (and the fact that he was complaining about it being slightly late). The fact that only 10% of his merch sales go into the charity which is the legal minimum . The fact that the website is looks like it was slapped together in 5 seconds. I don’t know, it’s all becoming pretty shady.

This is something funny that doesn't actually apply, but it said somewhere on his site about his knee bones crumbling, and I was trying to look that up, and then one of the possible things that came up it said a possible cause was having HIV. (It doesn't match with the thing he showed on his insurance thing in his latest video so I can't be bothered looking in my history to be reminded of what the actual terms were.)

Jake said he has a part time employee and like 6 volunteers. I believe his treasurer is a board member and not the employee. A functional nonprofit should have a treasurer on the board of directors managing the financials that is also a certified accountant to avoid any weird financial issues to happen. I don't know who or what he's paying for this part time employee and what that employee even does (it's probably a waste of money for sure) but I am almost certain his treasurer isn't the paid employee. With that said, his nonprofit is almost certainly nonsense and poorly ran. He really shouldn't have started it if he wasn't financially able to dump capital into the project until it became self sustainable through a donor base that believes in the project. He's just your typical leftoid that doesn't understand nonprofit management but thinks they can just run a business because they donate to shitty GoFundMes all the time and think it's the same thing.

A lot of the symptoms of chronic lyme can actually be contributed to long term antibiotic use. I got lyme disease at around 12 years old, and started treatment around a year later. You can be sick longer if you treat it late, but there's usually no need to be on antibiotics for years at a time. I was on an assortment of different medications like doxycycline, minocycline, and amoxicillin around 4-5 years, and at one point I was told by a doctor that I had like no white blood cells. They said I had the blood results of an aids patient.
