I made these today. Added more peppers. Cupboards very bare and still can't think of anything I want to eat with them. So I will eat more later with a simple salad. I don't think there will be any left tomorrow. I have just enough cornmeal mix for another batch, but will have to add a couple tbsp regular flour to get a full cup. Won't be making trips to the store for a couple weeks. It occurs to me that if I use what I have on hand, there will not be enough on shelves, even for those of us on a budget struggling month to month and not trying to hoard. That makes delicious food like this especially wonderful as next month may be less to work with on the shelves. The stores didn't waste time raising prices to add salt in the wounds of those of us at risk and unable to hunt multiple stores for supplies. I enjoy checking what I have for your recipes and almost jump for joy having all the ingredients. No time for injuries, so I am sending a big smile and an even bigger THANK YOU!

chesh kat Do whatever you need to do to get your family through this. “Hoarding” to feed yourselves is normal. The government’s definition of hoarding is buying massive amounts of medical masks, 🧻 paper, 🖐 sanitizers, to resell 10 times above the normal price. If you need to buy 3 containers of corn starch for your recipes to get you through this crisis, do it. Most people will have all their ingredients in their pantry anyways. I have enough of everything to get me through, but there are so many substitutes for toilet paper, hand sanitizer, and such that I’m not panicking.

Yes! Thank you Tammy. Tried buying yeast yesterday to make bread, no can do, no yeast on the shelves. I appreciate how you’re helping us. I’ve been watching Italy singing from their balconies on videos, so much hope they’re spreading. Made me go listen to “We are the world”, inspiring song for all at this time.

Those look like the hush puppies my mom and dad would make when they had their community fish fries. We had tables set up in Daddy’s shop and outside in the backyard. Friends and family came. Mom made the coleslaw and the hush puppy batter. Daddy fried the fish and dropped the hush puppies. Everyone else brought a side dish and dessert. I’m telling you, there was no restaurant around that served hush puppies like those.

Tammy you are the most fun ever!! I want two too!!! I love all your recipes, I made your green beans a couple nights ago...outstanding!! I went right by your directions. I watched I think it was last night with you and Chris just sitting on your back porch talking about purple hull peas and your new canner, that was so entertaining, those are some of my favorites, when you and Chris just sit and talk to your friends, and answer questions...you are so cute the way you say you say things wrong, you call pulled pork “beef” or some such, but that’s what makes you special...I truly believe God saw you through cancer so you could be on KZbin for all of us😊THANK YOU!!!!!❤️❤️❤️

I have been buying all of my White Lilly flour products on Amazon but with this virus thing, you cant buy flour in the stores or on line..............it is just crazy. I went to Walmart yesterday and even the flour shelves were empty. Glad I have a few bags of flour but I really wanted to try that biscuit mix and some of this White Lilly Cornmeal mix. Maybe next year. :-) Stay safe and wash your hands. :-) Your Hush Puppies look very good.

Tammy this is your sister in Christ Lee Michaels. I have changed my name to Captain Evie. I just wanted to let you know so when I make comments you know who I am. Like I was telling you about the Florida movement and I wasn’t surprised that you moved right outside the border. We are getting prepared here in the end of 2020 to open up our Florida office? So we are going to buy a sailboat and I’m going to do a KZbin channel. I have instructions as to how to run this channel. It is going to be just a sailing channel with praise to our God. Until the time comes to turn it into a word of knowledge word of wisdom discerning of spirits channel. I am going to be doing some agricultural work with people. And some other sailing KZbin channels are going to be doing this work with me as far as I know. Interesting times we have to listen to our God and see how this all plays out. Get instructions from Him led by the Holy Spirit God!
