I had everything Mike had. Remembered it all like it was yesterday. My mom gave ALL, I MEAN ALL of my toys to the next door neighbors kids who were exactly like the Flanders kids Rod and Todd. I'm 41 now and I still will turn to my mom and say "what the fuck were u thinking?"

I feel you, when I was 16 or so, I came home from School one day, and my grandma told me she cleaned my room up a bit, threw some old stuff out. Turns out, that old stuff were ALL my Nintendo Power magazines, I had literally years worth of them, all already in the trash and carried away because it was freaking garbage day. Couldn't even save them. Still hurts a bit, to think I now never can just pull them out of some storage closet and read through them for the nostalgia.

I like getting really high, and watching these old videos. It's the only time I feel that adolescent joy of playing with toys, or goofing around with your friend when you were a kid. I can't remember the name of the set, but I used to have this huge sewer slide hideout thing, with a blue plastic lift, cardboard fence, and these hydro posts that you could clip the turtles to and swing them like a trapeze. This was a great walk down memory lane. I’m 32 I had the same figures as hand me downs. I was always jealous of my cousins becausethey always got a mass amount of the toys and the big sets I just got figures. I liked ghost buster toys more when I was a kid so I they were jealous of those of me. We always got together and played nicely though never any issues. Soon after that though it was all about resident evil and Pokémon.

I only had a few TMNT action figures. I had Michaelangelo, Donatello in a trenchcoat, Leatherhead, a version of Michaelangelo where he stored weapons and pizzas in his shell, and a transforming turtle who turned into Donatello.

I had one or two of the Turtles, but that was it. I remember the isles full of action figures and toys. Hell, I remember Star Wars action figures and GI Joes in the toy stores. I had a lot of GI Joes and the Terrordrome. I had an X-wing and a Millennium Falcon.... and the weird rebel troop transport that was a carrying case for the Star Wars figures. Lots of Micro Machines... I think I was just beginning to get out of the Action figure toy age when the Turtles were big, but I did watch the cartoons.
