It's a tragedy for EVERYONE and many people won't have money to afford a room to stay even for one night. Many celebrities have second homes and plenty of money to rebuild....most people will just be homeless.

As an Aussie, we know fires… if you are asked to evacuate… follow the instructions. Fires will be on you within minutes. Fires can spot anywhere from 30 to 60 miles ahead of the main fire and can create their own weather patterns. Like a tornado of fire. Remember, houses are just things and can be replaced. Not when average people were dropped by their insurance providers just a month or more ago. They have no money to rebuild or replace belongings. there was a video I watched about forestry which you go to collage for and he was comparing public lands with private, public lands were disaster, you can look it up on youtube dont remember the title tho it was a few years ago. the hands off approach of forest care on public lands may not have been a accident. even here in ohio I was walking at a park and I noticed the trees all looked so tightly together and so holey and their bark seems a bit off and they just looked stresses. hands off approach is not working. maybe they know that?

As someone from the south who prays daily, I just want the people of California to know; we have been forming prayer groups and figuring out how to donate and send things to California. No one “deserves” anything. Can we all stop saying “oh, it’s a red state, they deserved it” now? Can we come together yet? It’s time. ❤️ Remember 9/11 when we were actually the UNITED States for a while? It’s time to love one another. It’s time to be the UNITED States again.
