eeeek!!! my baby on the the best review channel on KZbin love the work Jamie ...the stereo is God awful sorry to have put you through tht haha the indicators are silent God knows why don't know if others make noise but hey hoo haha ..........I think a type R probably is a good comparison on the basis of price power and practicality but not a lot stands up to the cupra on acceleration as turbo is always going to be better than vtech 😜😜😜

+Deadman 101 the most wellknown brands are revo-mtm-abt from europe snd unitronic from u.s.a !!! but in greece are the best 20VT vag tuners on the earth!!! you must do a google search for revlimt-etuners-overload-svs !!!! in my car revlimit reflash my ecu !! and with injectors and maf from s3 and a full turboback exhaust i run now 258 hp !!!

Hey man big fan from greece. I have a question for you i heard you mention that you had jom coilovers on your car too. Because I'm thinking putting those on my BMW E30 do they worth their money or should I look for something else. I am not only consider this car as a stance car I'm thinking about some performance too.

Me too, I sold my Black Cupra R a few years ago & missed it that much I now have a Platinum Grey one with some mods & it makes me smile every-time I drive it. Do a modded LCR MK1 Jamie - you'll be surprised just how quick it is for a 1.8.

I had one of these for a while my only issue was the long gear ratios ... Wasn't aggressive enough for me but the car prior to that was a 360bhp pulsar gti so that might explain it ... amazing little cars though

Hey Jamie, I'm new to your channel, a mate said to check out your EP3 review, as I'm thinking I need more noise in my life, mine is just too quiet even with downpipe and straight through milltek. I've got a Mk3 Ibiza cupra running about the same power and same engine as this one but a little better spec. Just wondering if you were buying one which would you have, an Ibiza cupra, or EP3 type R? I was hoping to get different feedback from each video, but you seem to love every car your drive lol

+MikeMezza2k11 i would say with what i have driven that the EP3 is the better B roader when you want to have fun, but the seat is more of a fun, comfy, more refined car but of cause that just from what i have driven! To me the best feedback is always about how good the cars are to drive and stuff, then ill let people that own these comment on there problems and stuff to share with other people, well thats the plan anyway haha!

I used to have a fr tdi in that shape. Loved it until turbo let go at 50k miles. For such a small car they have a high top speed

The reason the torque is impressive is because you have full torque at 2k RPM already, unlike 5k ish like most cars :P

never buy the new shape 1.4 tsi FR ! know engine faults had to have mine rebuilt at 22k!! then again 10k later! stay well away!

Engine is to small for what it has to deal with boosted small engines make good power but reliability and it's basically under full load all of the time if you have 1.4 naturally aspirated engines there alright as they don't have quickly spooling turbos that chuck loads of pressure at low rpm which is the quickest way to kill and engine

the 2016 version have again 1.8lt turbo engine instead of the 1.4lt for some reasons i guess :P
