I am trying to cut off social media because, thanks to your video I just realized that I was in a mood of pitty myself each time I was watching a reel in which somebody is showing how happy is while I am just watching it and not being part of it at least not being able to live it by myself. That is like punch in the face to myself and all the effort that I put daily in what I do and my loved ones. Thank you Jamila ❤

I think envy is natural and the positive thing from it is to then try harder to better oneself. Either through more elegant behaviour , more income, better company or a better house

Yes! I agree 👌My life changed at the end of 2020 when I turned jealousy into FUEL. I unlocked my creative powers, and my life has been a beautiful ride since then. Admire others! Learn! Grow! And be compassionate to yourself. Thank you for your honest and kind words, ma’am. ❤❤❤ A brilliant video. 😊

@@kendall2004 I had someone on social media that I admired a lot. I soon realized I was jealous of her success, audacity, and authenticity. 😊 God was good to me, and he sent me a book (via a random email), “The Artist’s Way” by Julia Cameron. That book showed me how powerful I am. And I discovered the source of energy behind many things she (the woman on social media) did. That jealousy led me to find myself, my creativity, my power. And everything Mrs Musayeva said in this video is valid 💯! I hope my response helped. Best wishes always.

I think once you get into the mindset that other peoples lives just don’t matter to you, you’ll find it easier to not care about other peoples successes and luck in life. It’s how I live my life and it’s very easy once you let go of caring about others.

I can totally relate, when I see people succeed I am often overwhelmed with joy and want to push them on further. Simply cheering them on and saying oh you can do it you’ve got this. But it hurts when you are succeeding and it seems like people grind their teeth and wait for you to fail so they can rejoice 😢.

Dear Jamila, as a girl in her early 20s I highly appreciate your content and the effort you put into it. I believe the knowledge you share is very essential in life and also very rare nowadays, given the fact that the majority of creators use social media to produce fleeting entertainment, which is of course not a bad thing but I deem that it has replaced its place with more important topics. This is why I value your videos a lot. Also I would be thankful if you could add the tips on the screen to these kinds of videos. Like for example: number 10 " One believer is enough" and start explaining what you mean by that. Once you're done with the tips appear all of them together at the end of your speech to summarize what you said, I think it lasts longer on the viewer's mind.

I recomend you to explore your thoughts about it, maybe the thoughts you have when envious are pretty hurtful, listen why your emotions turn so troubling can help you get throught it, understand to change.

Thank you so much for this video, for a long time I searched for an advice to deal with this emotions, not even psychologist helped me. So then I tried to find the answer in myself and found out a way to deal with this. 1. understand that it comes from a place of wanting that thing or trait 2. thanking the person for being who they are because they are beautiful and unique, and that way so am I, my place is taken by me and im honored and grateful for what I have. Thank you for your knowledge master

Thanks for this video! I'm the kind of person who doesn't get jealous (neither does my mother), but I still wanted to watch this to get a greater understanding in general. **UK watchers who want to order the book** Use regular shipping and select "United Kingdom." When I tried to use EMS and selected "Great Britain" none of the cities appeared, but this may be fixed later.

What is even more powerful is if instead of asking "What can I do to achieve the same thing", you all "What can we do as a society to make this thing more accessible to more people, and make it more equitable for all of us." Feeling envious in an unjust situation is not only natural, it's motivation that we can use to make society better and fairer.

This is definitely one of the healthiest video on jealousy I've seen. As far as I enjoyed the feeling of really cozy and comfortable conversation, it would be really great if you would highlight the main points of the topic on the screen as well. I think it would help to grasp the subject much better for the visual learners. Thanks for making the video and considering this idea. Congratulations on publishing your 3d book tho!

Great video. But if I may, I really love how the Bible distinguishes Jealousy from Envy. For example, if someone's spouse is cheating, then the person who is not cheating will not accept that, they will be angry, etc, which is quite acceptable; that is a case of jealousy. In the case of Envy, for example, if I see my friend purchase a fancy house and I hate that they could afford it and it wasn't me, I want to do everything to get that house just because the friend has it. Now, I would do anything to get it, and I may even begin to dislike that friend because they have a better house. Envy is dangerous, and the Bible was right in warning of the dangers of this negative emotion. In life we must learn to be grateful for what we have and stop crying and worrying and focusing on everything we don't have. You will not feel complete if you get that thing you were dying to have. It is human nature to always want more and desire what someone else has. It's no wonder so many people suffer from mental health issues; they never learn to be content, not covet be thankful for what they have.

What if you are not meeting your responsibilities? Our household expenses can't be paid on my income alone because my wife is in a more lucrative industry. It's easy to conquer jealousy when you are already doing "enough", but when you are doing less than the acceptable minimum, it's much harder.
