Janu Sirsasana, also known as Head-to-Knee Forward Bend, is a yoga pose that involves stretching one leg straight out in front of you while bending the other leg and bringing the foot to rest against the inner thigh of the extended leg. The torso is then folded forward over the extended leg, aiming to bring the forehead toward the knee or shin. It's a calming forward bend that stretches the hamstrings, groins, and spine while also stimulating the liver and kidneys. This pose is often included in yoga sequences for its benefits in improving flexibility and promoting relaxation. It's named "Janu Sirsasana" in Sanskrit, with "Janu" meaning "knee" and "Siras" meaning "head", reflecting the alignment goal of bringing the head toward the knee.
Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana is an advanced variation of Janu Sirsasana. In this pose, the body is twisted while in the seated forward bend position. Here's how you can practice Parivrtta Janu Sirsasana.

Hi thanks for this beautiful video. One small doubt, should we repeat this aasana on both legs. You folded your right leg n did all the stretches. Should we do the same by folding the left leg as well.
