I got a personal lesson from Jason last month in a Austin when he was on tour with ATR.... It was just him and me for an hour... he showed me this when I asked about string skipping... So stoked they made this cause it was hard trying to take everything in lol. I got to play his new ernie ball model and he even gave me his pick... so cool.

I used to "cheat" like that to avoid the inside the string cases since I also had a weakness there, but for me, I found it better to just spend a few weeks working on specifically that until it wasn't as much of a problem anymore. I highly recommend isolating weaknesses and working them out.

Jason doesn't strike me as the type of person that would be all that excited about anything he probably appreciates the appreciation but he probably just trys not to let it get to him there's a lot of people that actually feel like they come under a lot of pressure once they start getting up there and they start to lose themselves while Jason is just like well that's cool

So, usually i add string skipping in my own songs too, but sound is not as cool as in that video. This video is really helpful for us to learn how to do string skipping effectively with sound and scale writing. Thank you Jason :)
