You guessed it, it's (even) more sprint action at Three Sisters Circuit for Round 5 of the JTSS Championship season!
After a miserable first day in the North West, Sunday promised to be a far drier affair. And despite the odd unwelcome shower in the morning session, conditions in the afternoon were ideal for setting fast times!
With last-year's class-winning time of 1:21.88 in our sights, we improved progressively throughout the day, but constantly shadowed and under constant threat from the super-quick Tom Barnes.
We kept pushing and, on our final run, we found some extra speed to hang onto P1 with a 1:21.55, besting our time from 2022 by 0.3s!
This puts us at four wins from four attempts at Three Sisters Circuit, and four wins from five attempts in 2023. That's enough to mathematically clinch the J13 Class Championship with two rounds to spare!
This series is nothing without its competitors so thank you to Tom Barnes, Josh Greaves and all of my other J13 class stablemates for continuing to push us all to be our best at every event.
The next round is at Mallory Park in September, where we've already completed a 'cheat day' at the Quick60 Challenge!
