Jax Wax Black Trim Renew Review! Pre Power Tour GMC Syclone Fixing!

Fine I'll take care of the cladding! As so many people have noted on Facebook and on the comments here, the black cladding on our all original GMC Syclone is looking more than a bit rough and faded. Fortunately there's a easy fix for that, so why not do an Use and Review video since I need to do this anyways? So, Jax Wax Black Trim Renew review versus badly faded GMC Syclone cladding!
This truck is essentially all original and bone stock, unfortunately it also has lived most of it's life outside. 90s GM plastics were never known for their exceptional quality, and with decades of exposure to wind rain and sun it's definitely taken a beating. Fortunately with a little bit of money and a little bit of time, we're back in black! Jax Wax versus Mothers Back to Black? I'll take this stuff because a little goes a long long way!

Ya it's a major change for sure, gotta get the paint looking good(ish) again and get those tires swapped. Do fluids, make sure everything is functional. Love this little black truck.

I actually met the owner of Jax Wax back in 2017 in my Corvette, super nice guy. Unfortunately he doesn’t market as much as Chemical Guys and Adams. Likely the same formula for all three IMO 🤷‍♂️

What a transformation from grey to black. Love that truck. I have a1991 s10 Blazer and they got wax on the wheel well cladding. So I’m gonna scrub that off and then make them black again

SERIOUS difference for sure, just realize it only lasts a few months. Especially on 90s plastics, there's only so much you can do!

Unfortunately they are getting to that point of pricing where "normal" people really can't buy one that's half decent, or that hasn't been blown up an butchered. Or they are pristine and living in a climate controlled garage hiding from the sunshine and worth WAY too much money

It totally changes the look of the truck when she's all shined up and lookin perty that's for sure. I'm pretty dang excited to get this thing out there on the roads for Power Tour, still got a lot to do before I leave though!

Put it on your mirrors too! I just painted the cladding on my Avalanche today using SEM Trim Coat. Very satisfied with it.

That looks great! I should try that stuff on my Avalanche. The cladding in some spots is closer to white. Thanks for the heads up about JaxWax products.

You won't be disappointed! The cladding on this truck was as close to wasted as you can get, an hour or so and it's back to sexy black.

Oh man that stuff WORKS.... If I had any vehicles with decent paint (other than the Cuda of course) I would use their stuff to keep it nice.
