I may as well be the 100th person to mention this, but just in case: 28:00 : This scene is actually a parody of a scene from "The Shining", where a door is open and we see one guy in a dog suit, presumably giving the guy on the bed 'intimate attention' 🤣 kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y6u7c3WvqtyNfLs

Jason Mewes was in a Canadian show "Todd and the Book of Pure Evil". He was playing a Janitor and was a regular side character. I'm not sure if that fits your criteria as "appeared but didn't actually play J&SB".

There's certain interviews where you get the distinct feeling Kevin sort of pushed Jason Mewes forward or put pressure on him to change his ways when he got too far into his addiction.
@KenMabie5 ай бұрын
@@_cloudface_ dude .. Kevin tried helping Jason out with his addiction twice .. letting him even live with him and his family. little known fact about Kevin is that he is a devout Catholic. So bringing your junkie friend to the same place your wife and kids live is kinda not something a lot of them do. but since they were childhood friends Kevin did it .. and both times Jason stole a lot of money from Kevin's house and ran off. Jason has even talked about it and the moment he decided to kick smack. he said that he was in his apartment in LA and he was so wasted he didnt know he accidently caused a house fire and he was rescued all fucked up by firefighters

Clerk's came out on video in 95 my Rookie year as a law enforcement officer and I am five other young officers and our one older officer who was 55 got together and watched the movie and every one of us except our old cop buddy loved it, we were a very small town department. I was hooked and have been a fan ever since.
@mjfan65311 ай бұрын
Honestly, I highly respect cops, you are the people who run into all kinds of unknowns to help people in need. The only grudge I have is with drug laws, as I believe a person should have the freedom over his body to choose what they consume, even if it is harmful. Its a healthcare problem if anything, making it a criminal problem helps nobody. But of course cops are enforcers of laws, they dont write them, so I guess as long as they dont actively seek out to ruin lives I have no problems with them. Its a standard rule of life: “dont be a dick”

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back is one of my favorites. I love that Jason Lee is the one that warns them about their comic book being made into a Movie and he also plays the guy who stole it. Plus it has one of my favorite lines. When Ben Aflfeck talks about the order of how you do a movie.... You're like a child. What've I been telling you? You gotta do the safe picture. Then you can do the art picture. But then sometimes you gotta do the payback picture because your friend says you owe him. That stare at Kevin Smith is priceless.
