"you gotta eat smaller, more frequent meals" if he ate every 3 hours, assuming he was awake for 16 hours and slept 8 hours, that's 5-6 meals a day. To get 1000g of carbs and 300-400g of protein in he needs 50-60g of protein and ~200g of carbs per meal. i can't wait to be so big i can call that "smaller, more frequent meals"

it’s relative to body size and lean mass. Not only was Jay 300ish pounds, he was very lean. So to adequately fuel approx. 270 lbs of muscle you need a ridiculous amount of carbs for glycogen and protein for recovery.

Same way someone would do without type 2 - a perfect mix of intense discipline and consistency, eating a shedload of food, perfect workouts and a tonne of gear. And the genetics to go with it. Without all those you'll fail. Less than 20 men in history have been able to say they're Mr Olympia so the odds are stacked against virtually everyone

@port nut Nope. Maybe you got an impressive physic and was blessed with the right genetics but I went from skinny to skinny fat eating like this. I had the thinnest arms but trained hard and did build some muscle on my arms but my stomach had high levels of fat and I had love handles it was disgusting. So DONT eat like this guy in the video.

I see all these bodybuilding forums and they pound alot of calories which includes high amounts of carbs, carbs like rice, pasta, breads etc.....this is terrible for diabetics. Some bodybuilders say you need to eat alot of these carbs to help gain mass and transport protein. So it's very conflicting even if eating good carbs.

Even today for getting low BF pluse the type of athletic bodybuilding body, what 70s athletes did was living proof about the correctnes of the high fat high protein diet
