Hey Jay! Your videos have been super helpful. I grew up lifting, starting at about 15 out of a friend's dad's garage. Good stuff. As life got busy and I moved around I no longer frequented the gym. That was probably 12 years ago. Last year at 35 I finally started getting back to a regular lifting schedule. Seeing you doing what you're doing in your early fifties has been awesome to see and your break down of your routines have been very helpful. Thanks for putting this stuff out for everyone to benefit.

Hi Jay, great video as usual. I hope you will have a big and full 2025, there's so much potential in everyone of us. Personally, I am generally aiming to: 1) Getting shredded for the very first time in my life (right now I'm at 250). By the way I just got a poster of you, Arnold and Rich Piana on my kitchen wall. 2) Learning new stuff in different fields. Getting as much knowledge as possible. I wish anyone a great 2025, time to grow and to make things happen. Life is great!!

been doing 10g creatine a day as well... also, had my bloodwork checked to make sure it's fine. and there's been no affect on my bloodwork (something I was worried about, but my numbers say I'm okay). I do think with bloodwork, people forget that they need to take a week off of the gym and a week off of creatine supplements so your bloodwork doesn't say your creatnine levels are too high (something that used to happen to me before I realized that working out right before bloodwork was causing my levels to be too high). I use 5g preworkout and 5g postworkout, so get both types of benefits. using 5g preworkout helps give you a slight increase in strength, but probably not noticable for advanced lifters. and the postworkout creatine is supposed to help with other benefits.

Hi all. John meadows did heavy side laterals. Do you think that can tear up your shoulders more that way than how Jay does them? I’m asking because I have some shoulder issues now and I can’t tell if it’s from dips or more from heavy partials to the side. Thanks all. I want to get back to feeling my best again.

How long can you go without directly hitting shoulders for them to lose size or strength? I’ve had a shoulder Injury for like five months now and I’m still doing shoulder exercises cus I’m afraid of losing whatever size or strength I have in them but I know I need to give them a break so maybe the injury will finally fully heal. It’s gotten better but it’s still tender and it makes it harder to up weight for a lot of shoulder exercises, especially lately raises.

Seating on bench for front raise, hits 40% your traps. Also unable to use much weight. Standing is 90% and u can load 300% more weight. For lateral by far is better the cable. Or just seatting once again can use more weight. These works for whom have injuries and old. Also too much swimming, blood goes in quads and traps. Old rule : good student mostly not good coach. I understand u doing to promote your supplements.. Supplements u never used. You never almost used proteins. Just glutamine and creatine Fair enough I'm biggest fan by the way
